I find this amusing. For 4 days now, I’ve not been able to access the Events page at all. When I do, all I get is a vast and quite, quite empty blue screen and nothing else. I even tried the very helpful hint of clicking on the peekanewz from the side panel above and while it accesses the page, you apparently can’t sign. I’ve tried to get the Events page to come up on three different computers, 1 laptop and two different pc’s. I religiously clean the history and the cache every morning and still nothing. I’ve mentioned this on Twitter, Facebook and now twice here in the Peekanewz. Either everyone at Ganz is on vacation or one gives a hoot that the Events page isn’t working. :(
So…. In order to get the Events page working? I had to download the Avast internet browser because the Events page absolutely positively will. not. work on Chrome or Firefox.
I’m so excited about this new pet! I need to figure out a really good name for her!
When trying to select the event tab the page comes up blank. Can not participate in the peek-a-news event or get the food of the month.

Found out that you can pick the Peek-A-Newz Challenge from the last (4th) AD box on the right side of the screen. It is labeled Contests and Events. Good luck!

Am I the only one with problems loading the “events” page? It is so frustrating. I simply get a blank screen so I cannot complete peak a newz. I’ve cleared my cache, etc.
Nope, I’m having the same problem. The last time I played the event it was going fine, then stopped. It’s still giving me that same issue now.

no this is happening to a lot of users but there is a work around – use the blue box to the right labelled “contests and events” then click the June Peek-A-Newz challenge then you can participate

I like the new way of getting the 3 items. And I don’t mind that there is a food item. Thanks Ganz!
I agree. I’ve received items that I didn’t even know existed. I play more often now. Food is always welcome in my house. :)
I agree with @snuggles565 – I wish we would go back to how Peek-A-Newz prizes were given out. This new way is “okay”, but I really dislike getting food as a prize! It would be so nice if the three prizes were…1 Small Ganz World Item, 1 Ganz World Furniture Item, and 1 Birthday of the Month Gem item. I’m trying to finish several Birth Stone collections and it is taking FOREVER to get the pieces I am missing! Please consider getting rid of the food prize and replacing it with Birth Stone prizes for each month. Please!
It’s hard to make everyone happy. I rather like the food items, but I see your point. Say, what items are you missing? Perhaps some of us have items that we can send your way. I for one would be happy to send anything that you need that I might have your way.

While I agree with you in the way that I would also like to see the prize pool of items, I prefer the new prize pool where they award you three items instead of just one.
This tip has been posted by many other players. From any page, look at the bottom advertisement box. The picture will change to “June Peek-A-Newz Challenge”. Click on this picture to get started on your PAN. It would be helpful if the events page was fixed. AuntietoEW
