From March 11 – 16, look for the Leprechaun at the Kinzville Park on your Webkinz Classic account, and click on him to get a Lucky Coin Gift Box! He will be featured in the same spot all day and won’t disappear, however his location will change each day.
Your Lucky Coin Gift Box will be added to your Dock. Drag it into your pet’s room to open it!
Every time you open a Lucky Coin Gift Box you’ll receive one of five lucky coins. There are two common coins to collect, two uncommon coins and a rare Lucky Emerald Coin:
Don’t forget to visit the Kinzville Park on St. Patrick’s Day. When you click on the Leprechaun on Friday, March 17, you’ll earn an extra special prize: A Lucky Coin Safe!
Add the safe to your pet’s room and click on it to open it. Then, drag coins from your Dock into the safe to store them! You can also sell your coins at the WShop to earn KinzCash.
Looking for more coins for your collection? From March 11 – 17, look for the floating Lucky Coin Gift Box on Webkinz Newz and click on it to send it back to your Webkinz Classic account.

The Leprechaun was the last disappearing holiday event in Webkinz Classic. It was most fitting with him as he’s supposed to be mischievous. The timing in which he appeared in the clubhouse wasn’t too long of a wait either. Another end of an era for us senior Webkinz players as the game continues to change! Remember when you had to find the Ghost Halloween and Ms. Birdy for Christmas as well?

I always enjoyed finding the elusive Leprechaun Lucky when switching from room to room in the clubhouse. It was so much easier to find him once I figured out his pattern. I then knew on what minute he would appear in each of the different rooms. The only rooms that I could not figure out were the Welcome Room and eStore Showcase I was not able to find him in those rooms, now I will never know if he actually did appear there. I really like the improvement that has been made to this event of looking for the Leprechaun in the Kinzville Park. It is so much easier and quicker. Just need to enter the park find his location and click on Lucky to receive the Lucky Coin Gift Box so quick your done for the day. This change will make the event of finding the leprechaun fun and enjoyable for the players. I really like the NEW Lucky Rainbow Coin, I can’t wait to get the Lucky Coin Safe. So far I won the rare Lucky Emerald Coin x 3 on my 11 accounts today. I have more gift boxes to open later from the Podkinz Episode and WKN. Myself I would prefer to win the Lucky Rainbow Coin as it is new I haven’t received any of this coin yet. I am hoping to be able to add it to my collection. ~ shelkinz67
Awwww, this is a sad event. :( I adored chasing Lucky around the Clubhouse to collect Jelly Coins every mid-March — I never once thought it was too difficult for players to accomplish and the satisfaction is unmatched in this current event at the Park! Lucky’s themed vocalizations and catchphrases are no longer used — it was such a delight to hear them so you knew Lucky was present, and I don’t see how the “Irish Jig” music that plays when you collect the rainbow of Jelly Coins will make its way into this event this March. I’m going to miss hearing that ditty and Lucky’s voice, I can only imagine the disappointment of missing Spooky’s moans in the Clubhouse at Halloween if he moves to the Park, too! Not a fan of this activity, wish it would go back to the classic event. :(
I agree with you. I loved this event. I understand for those who have so many accounts, I’m sure it was time consuming.
@Mila14 Chasing Lucky in the Clubhouse was time-consuming for certain, but it was so welcomed to disrupt the monotony that playing Classic daily can become. For example, as enjoyable as it is to visit Ms. Birdy in December for the Twelve Days of Christmas Collection, all we have to do is visit a room once per day and click to receive the prize — there is no incentive to stay in the Clubhouse and interact, nor does the prize bring as much sense of a reward. I miss some of the old ways!
