Me too! Of course they made a dog this month, although I’m very happy it’s not some poofy-shmoofy one. They did a really good job on the kitty, but the Shiba Inu doesn’t really look like a Shiba Inu. That’s just my opinion. I absolutely LOVE Shibas in real life though. Hopefully the online version will look better.
That’s what I thought too. That’s why I prefer the cat out of these two pets. I think the Shiba Inu is adorable, but I wish it was fluffier and more life-like. I think that makes the Shiba Inu look like a Shiba inu is the tail XD

Welcome back, kittymade :) and yeah, I think Pokekinz does have a point…… But hey, it’s not that bad. It could’ve been worse. They could’ve said “Shiba inu dog puppy”. I don’t think the Webkinz team would make a name like that, though. Most of their pet names are pretty good :)

Yeah, I think it should be named that XD actually, maybe I should just buy a Shiba inu and name it that. Aw man, it might be too long of a name :/ eh, I guess I’ll just have to call it JSSSIDPP-KCLF for short. Actually, that sounds like a name of a robot or something so I think I’d just have to name it Shiba Inu Dog Pup Poochy-Kinz for short or something. Or I could wait n see if the actual Webkinz species name gets changed…. Nah, I’d just adopt it under that name

They need like more Dogs & Cats! These are like my top dog breeds. Akita, Shikoku, Kai Ken, SHIBA INU & Hokkaido. My TOP cat breeds are. Japanese Bobtail, American Shorthair, Siberian cat, & Norwegian Forest cat. Did you know the Maine Coon could grow to 3.3 feet!? I am not kidding!

I LOVE THOSE CATS!!!!
All my furkids are part Maine Coon, and some of them are HUGE, yes. Coons are also scary smart. In addition to the little fuzzy girl who taught her some of her brothers to flush a toilet, one of the other boys likes to “answer” the phone, all of them can do more my cell phone accidentally than I can on purpose, and one insists on ice in the water bowl. And so much more. When the quints were kittens, it was kinda like having 15 toddlers.
*sigh* Should be my *daughter’s* cell phone, and that phone Will used to answer was a landline, years ago. This is what I get for typing in the middle of the “night”, which it basically is for me.
Very cool. I like the Akita as well. But most of all, I think Ganz should make a Blue Heeler. *sigh* maybe someday…
I love that Webkinz made a dog and a cat because they don’t have a lot and everybody loves them. I don’t know dog breeds but the Shibu Inu Dog Webkinz is really cute. And I am obsessed with the Cuddle Cat. SO CUTE!!!

That’s an great name TaffyKitty! If I got the dog I would probably name him Hachiko, after the famous dog who’s master died and he would wait for him atone train station everyday, and I hope I’m getting this information right, oh, and they were in Japan. :) He was a different kind of dog, (an Akita) but they look quite similar and when I saw the dog, that’s who I thought of. :)

Although, personally, I’d rather get the cat (no offense to the Shiba inu Webkinz or anything, cause it is super adorable, but I’ve been waiting for a new cat since 2014…. Soooooo…. It’s kind of a big deal for me. I’ve ran outta cats to name after my favorite warriors characters :/ again, no offense to the Shiba inu. It is super cute and if love to get it one day! The Shiba Inu is cute but I agree with Taffy that the Cuddle Cat is SO CUTE!!!! I just love it!!! I have been waiting for so long too. I think the last cat was a black cat that I wasn’t really in love with but this Cuddle Cat is awesome. I’m gonna go with a classic name for the Cuddle Cat like Cuddles or Fluffy! So excited! :D
Glad you agree :) don’t get me wrong, I LOVE the Shiba inu but, I like the cuddle cat just a little bit more. And yeah, I’ve been waiting for so long! The last cat-cat to come out was the snow soft kitty back in 2014 (which I loved and eventually got), and I’ve been waiting ever since. Well, in all fairness a panther came out last year, and I really liked that one, but I was really hoping for an actual cat, not a cat relative (although I love big cats and other cat species!) And looks like my wish for another cat finally came true! :) and those are cute names!!! But, if I end up getting a cuddle cat, I’ll probably name him Graystripe (he’s one of my all time favorite characters in my fav book series! :) and he actually looks kinda similar to this, except he has green eyes and striped fur)

And, also, who else on here (other than myself) thinks that Ganz should TOTALLY bring back Signature pets?! I mean, they’re the best of the best. Ganz did a really good job with making all the signatures, but now they’re all RETIRED! I wish they would make more. I love those pets.

By the way, I wasn’t saying that their classic plush aren’t cool, too, or anything. It’s just that I’m one of those big fans of signature pets. Mostly because they’re super realistic, super cuddly, and they come with super cool items! In my opinion, I don’t think that they ever should’ve retired. Well, who knows, maybe they were just too expensive to keep manufacturing? I wish I knew why ganz retired them.
They were manfactured by a third-party, and they were too expensive to produce. We have mentioned this previously :)

Oh YES a Newfoundland! I love those dogs.
Newfoundlands are really huge, too! I just read that a grown male can weigh up to a hundred and fifty pounds! That’s gigantic! They’re also really tall; I’ve seen pictures of them standing up and putting their paws on their owner’s shoulders. Most of them are taller than a full-grown person!

Hey you know whats really funny? one of my neighbors who had a newfoundland said that he had been almost arrested because a lady told the police he was walking a black bear, when really he was just walking his newfoundland! XD

A Newfoundland is a dog :) they are normally pretty big and normally also have black fur (although sometimes it can be a different color). :) and it’s nice to have you back!

thats cool! my dog can sit, shake, high-five, (which is just like putting her paw on your hand,) rollover sometimes, and sit on her back legs and move her front paws up and down. thats her best trick. she does it for attention. I call it the up trick. :)
Wow, your dog knows a lot of tricks! Hehe…. Mine doesn’t know many. I never really taught her tricks. When we got her, I was pretty young and never really thought of that. I’d try to teach her some, but she’s an older dog and stuff. But I still love her regardless! :) But that is pretty cool, though! The up trick sounds really neat! It’s amazing that dogs are capable of doing and remembering so many different tricks!

Taffy, you can teach your dog to shake paws it is fun! hold a dog treat and say “Shake”, and then pick up your dogs paw and give him a treat. Do it like 15 times a day for a few days. Soon, your dog can shake hands! :D

Thanks! She dosen’t really know that much though, because half the time she won’t listen. :) we actually didn’t teach her “the up trick”, she just started doing it on her own to get attention, and we eventually taught her to do it on command.

Hey kittymade10!!! Great to see you. Have you guys ever wanted to ride a Newfoundland…. or is that just me? I hope I’m not just the crazy one who thinks crazy things…. XD
My dog (she’s a Shar Pei) knows how to sit on command and come, but that’s it. I’ll probably teach her more tricks, but her breed is known for being a bit strong-willed at times. I want to train her to shake hands and lie down. She could also use a little more time and patience on the “come” command…Anyways, I’ve always loved dogs. Our sweet girl, Lyric, is the fourth shar pei that we’ve owned; my mom absolutely adores the breed! We’ve never had another kind of dog. Lyric (who we call ‘Riri’) is so cute and affectionate. I also have an African Dwarf Frog, who is now about eight years old! And, no, I’m not kidding! Some african dwarf frogs have been known to live a whopping EIGHTEEN years! I know what you’re thinking, than, “that means she’s going to live another ten years? Woah!” We’ve owned some betta fish before, too, but the last ones that we got about four years ago sadly passed away within a few months. As you can tell, I love animals! Especially dogs and foxes (although I don’t own a fox, of course)!
Yeah….but my dog REALLY Dosen’t listen! All she cares about in life is food, attention, cats, and rabbits. Oh well…..her cuteness pays for her disobedience. And yeah, the “up trick” is really cute! it’s even cuter because she’s a dachshund, and she’s pretty fat. :D
RosyFox, aww, that’s so cute! I’ve actually never seen a real Shar Pei, but I bet they’re adorable! And I actually wish I owned the Webkinz version, but it’s hard to find. I’ve only had one dog in my family so far (excluding my grandma). She’s an eight year old sheltie :) She knows one or two tricks, but that’s all. She’s still a great dog though regardless! :) And best of all, she’s very friendly! Well, she’s noisy, but still friendly! Oh, and she can run super fast. ;) and wow! I didn’t think any frog could live that long. But hey, that’s cool! That means more years with your pet :) and sorry to hear about your beta fish :( I used to have fish when I was little, but sadly, most of them died. And we gave the one that was still living away. Surprisingly though, his new owner says he’s still alive! That’s one old fish….. Oh, and cool! I love animals, too! :) Foxes are awesome! And I also really love cats (as you can tell by my username. I’m definitely a cat lover) and I also love love love dogs, too!!!! :)

hey TaffyKitty, we had a sheltie too! his name was Buddy, and he only had one eye. we got him so long ago, that I couldn’t even remember life without him. sadly, he died in 2012. :( it was sad without him, but he was getting old and he had lived a nice long life. soon after that we got Bonnie, the miniature australian shepherd, and Sadie, the miniature longhaired dachshund. they’re both wonderful dogs! you’re sheltie sounds awesome TaffyKitty! and so does Lyric, RosyFox! and wow, I didn’t know a frog could live that long! did you know that one type of tarantula can live over twenty years!! 0_0 and TaffyKitty, Sadie is really cute!! she does sound kinda like your cat, except instead of looking out the window, she looks at our cats! she can’t get enough of them, lol. :)
You did? That’s so cool! Buddy sounded so cute! I’m so sorry for your loss :( I know how it feels to lose a beloved pet. My cat, Taffy (whom I named this account, TaffyKitty12, after, died last June) :( It was so sad! She was in our family ever since I was born, and I almost couldn’t imagine life going on without her. We did get two new kittens last year (both are male tabbies; one is orange and the other a grayish brown) and I love them both, but they are so much different than Taffy was. Regardless I love them, and I know no cat could ever replace her anyhow, but thinking about her still makes me sad :( But I know she’s in a better place. Oh goodness, I’m making myself cry just talking about this. Really. I’m actually crying while I’m writing this :( sigh…… Well, anyhow, on a happier note, your new dogs sound really cute :) Saddie and Boomie both sound really adorable! :) And those are really cute names by the way! :) And wow! Tarantula can live up to TWENTY years?! That is SCARY o_0 By the way, remember when we were commenting about tarantulas on the post about the African chimp? Wow, just thinking about tarantulas brings me back to when we were talking about them. Your story about the tarantula freaked me out o_o oh, and that’s cute! Hehe, yeah, my dog, Milkshake, likes to watch my cats, too. And she especially likes to play with them, although they don’t always want to play back.

And I’m sorry about Taffy. :( I guess with Buddy, well, I loved him of course, but since we had him since so long ago, I never took care of him, so I never really had that good of a relationship with him. Its funny how different things would be now, if he was still here. It would be a lot more sad for me. Hey, that’s kinda like what we were talking about on leap day! But again, I’m sorry about your loss. Pets really are like family. :( and thank you, Bonnie and Sadie are really cute. :) and thanks about the names, only I didn’t come up them. The people we got Bonnie from had named her that already, and one of my older sisters named Sadie. Actually, Sadie used to be her dog….but that’s another story. And I know, I was like WHAT?! When I read that in science. I had no idea they could love that long. And yep, I remember talking about that! That was fun, well….it was fun, but the stories were creepy. [_] hey…that’s an interesting face. Anyways, milkshake sounds really cute! A Webkinz Newfoundland would have to be bigger then the rest of the pets! But now that I think about it, the whale is the same size as the other pets……… That’s kind of weird!
