just saying thanks for extending the WZ event in Next. It’s always fun to get prizes instead of cash. As someone who is relatively new to Next I wish the prize distribution algorithm was a bit different. Among my 3 accounts I managed to get above 8000 pts 79 times. The towel was awarded ~ 5% of the time (0-10% range), the wallpaper was awarded ~14% (13-15% range), the scooter was awarded ~5% (0-8% range) and finally the chimes were awarded a whopping 76% of the time (69-83% range). I understand the chimes were new and it’s great that they were awarded often enough that veteran players could get the new item but it seems that it was heavily skewed towards the chimes!
I think that your accounts were extremely lucky because I talked with a bunch of friends too, and three of them only got windchimes despite playing every single day. The rest got majority windchimes with a few wallpapers and blankets shuffled in here and there and had scooters appear once or twice. It makes me really sad to see so many people in Kinzville saying that they do not have scooters despite how long the event has gone on for.
I do feel really lucky to have gotten scooters. Of the 4 I won, I received 3 on the first couple of days of playing. I had finally given up hope of seeing another one again and then got one on the last day – of course not in the account that needed one. I just started playing next this year so now I’ll have to decide if I want to try and trade between accounts which is a bit of a pain or just wait until next year and hope that the scooter makes an appearance again.
You’re very lucky! I rarely win the top prize, especially during Wacky events. I didn’t get the scooter. :( I got a lot of windchimes, two beach towels and a few wallpapers. I collected five prizes each day. I never did get the car during the last event or the grill for whatever event that was. I guess my account is unlucky. lol
That Chef Stove is an awesome addition to my brand new kitchen! I love that you can make recipes on it, AND it is a dispenser! The appliances and counter are so high end that it has me longing for a remodel of our family kitchen. The food is so next level fancy that I get the benefit of a gourmet meal without the steep price (and no calories! Woohoo!) I have one question – how do I get food in the pans? The frying pan shown above has a nice steak and the sauce pan looks like it has soup. My pans are both empty. I tried turning them all different ways, removing them from the room and replacing them, etc., but I still don’t have any food cooking. Is it just a ‘me’ problem? Please let me know either way. Thanks!
The pans are two of my favorites, but right now they are glitched. They only work on the floor. Very unsanitary and hard on old knees and backs! Click on them when they are on the floor to get the foods to appear. I liked the Chef’s Kitchen Cabinets until I discovered they don’t open. That’s hysterical! Thanks for posting @11auntie! I kept trying different things and finally activated them while they were on the floor. I was coming back here to say that I figured it out, but you beat me to it. Hopefully the tech team can straighten that out. Currently my pets will get a head rush bending all the way over to access their food!
