Once again, your submissions to our Pet Buddy Design Contest blew us away! There were over 700 fantastic entries and it was so hard to narrow it down to just 10 finalists – so we didn’t! We actually ended up with 12 finalists, of which we are planning to make three Pet Buddies.
Pet Buddies!
We tried to select finalists based on the originality, creativity and how well it fits into Webkinz World. Our artists will be taking three of these ideas and bringing them to life. The grand prize winners will receive a Pet Design Trophy, all three of the winning Pet Buddies, plus 3 months of Deluxe Membership. And all of the finalists will each receive a Spring Super Mystery Bag – courtesy of Ganz eStore!
While the final decision is up to the Creative Team at Ganz, we want to hear what YOU think of the finalists. Please check out the list and then take a moment to vote for your favorite by clicking the button at the bottom of the list.

And a great job also to everyone who entered, even if you weren’t finalists! I sure saw a lot of other awesome designs when I looked through all the entries!

Very cute! Congrats everyone! I had wanted to enter but I haven’t had much time to draw lately. I my favorite might be Balloon Dog, but for what ever reason it’s not letting me vote. :(

Very creative designs! I think my favorites are the Alien and Woodland Spirit. Although, I was thinking it was Woodland Sprite till I read some of the other comments. Oops!

Won’t be buying any of these… Was hoping for some better concepts.
The whole idea was that we, as a community, would submit our concepts and Ganz would choose based on what they knew their designers were capable of creating. These designs are well thought out and believe it or not, once the actual design comes out you may feel completely differently about the winning designs.
I agree! Some of these ideas are great, especially Piper, the gingerbread man. I think I will be buying a couple of those–some of my pets have called dibs. :D
