Once again, your submissions to our Pet Buddy Design Contest blew us away! There were over 700 fantastic entries and it was so hard to narrow it down to just 10 finalists – so we didn’t! We actually ended up with 12 finalists, of which we are planning to make three Pet Buddies.
Pet Buddies!
We tried to select finalists based on the originality, creativity and how well it fits into Webkinz World. Our artists will be taking three of these ideas and bringing them to life. The grand prize winners will receive a Pet Design Trophy, all three of the winning Pet Buddies, plus 3 months of Deluxe Membership. And all of the finalists will each receive a Spring Super Mystery Bag – courtesy of Ganz eStore!
While the final decision is up to the Creative Team at Ganz, we want to hear what YOU think of the finalists. Please check out the list and then take a moment to vote for your favorite by clicking the button at the bottom of the list.

The mouse is my favorite.
The Pet Buddies that I liked the best were the Alien, the Balloon Dog, and Piper The Gingerbread Man, they cracked me up, as did the Egg! Those four are hilarious! I’m glad it isn’t my job to pick from all the entries! There are many very creative and talented artists on the loose in Webkinz World. I think that is one of the things that draws me to Webkinz World is the opportunities to get creative within our own accounts ie: designing rooms, putting together ensembles for our pets to wear, as well as creating their personalities, etc. Let’s hear it for our Webkinz Community and their adorable pet buddy creations! I give them 4 Paws Up!! ♪♫LadyBeauty♪♫

Okay, I was looking through some of the other pet buddy entries just now and saw yours in there. It’s adorable! And it is different, which was great! :) (There were an awful lot of, say, fairies and dragons being entered in this contest IMHO, not that I dislike fairies and dragons, but those are pet buddies that already exist!) Had they chosen your foxicorn, I think it would have ended up being a super-cute pet buddy!
