Once again, your submissions to our Pet Buddy Design Contest blew us away! There were over 700 fantastic entries and it was so hard to narrow it down to just 10 finalists – so we didn’t! We actually ended up with 12 finalists, of which we are planning to make three Pet Buddies.
Pet Buddies!
We tried to select finalists based on the originality, creativity and how well it fits into Webkinz World. Our artists will be taking three of these ideas and bringing them to life. The grand prize winners will receive a Pet Design Trophy, all three of the winning Pet Buddies, plus 3 months of Deluxe Membership. And all of the finalists will each receive a Spring Super Mystery Bag – courtesy of Ganz eStore!
While the final decision is up to the Creative Team at Ganz, we want to hear what YOU think of the finalists. Please check out the list and then take a moment to vote for your favorite by clicking the button at the bottom of the list.

I like the woodland spirit buddy, the dog balloon buddy and the Raccoon buddy! I’d prefer the star buddy doesn’t win because it doesn’t seem too original. Congratulations for everyone who made it into the finals! I do wish one of those Zingo entries made it, I’d love to have a Zingo buddy! I have the Webkinz plush of one.

I’m a huge sci-fi geek and I definitely have a soft spot for fun little aliens! beardog8910–first of all, congratulations on getting two of your entries in the finals! Eggy is so fun and the woodland spirit looks nothing short of magical. And kkofoed, I love the happy little face on your star. How can anyone feel sad with a star over their shoulder? There are so many talented people in the Webkinz community! I know I’ll get whatever pet buddies they decide to make, because every one of these choices is a winner!

Community input is important, but the creative team makes the final decision.
