We’re topping off Valentine’s Day with an extra treat – the shortlist of this year’s Pet Design finalists! The 2024 Pet Design Contest had over 800 amazing entries! We are so impressed by the talent and creativity of our players!
This year’s contest is extra-special because for the first time ever, the winning pet will be made into a virtual pet in Webkinz Next as well as Webkinz Classic! The pet will be available to purchase at Ganz eStore and in the Next Adoption Center starting on Webkinz Day, April 29, 2024.
It wasn’t easy to whittle the list of fantastic entries down but after much discussion we are excited to announce the 10 pet design finalists for 2024.
Of course, we can’t make the final decision without feedback from YOU! Please check out the finalists and watch Webkinz Newz this weekend for your chance to vote for your favorite!

This is an annual event, they usually announce it sometime in January to start the submissions. I can not imagine them not having one next year, we all love displaying our creations and the hope that one day one of ours will be chosen. Keep refining the pet you had in mind and keep an eye on the WKN, they will announce it and you’ll be ready to submit the day they open the gallery! Good Luck, I can’t wait to see what you have planned!

I completely understand, I was so proud of all of my entries too and it’s always disappointing to not place. But it was such a good time regardless!
qrax, your submissions were among the finest I had seen as well. I was blown away by your immense talent, That Monarch Papillon was so pretty and the colors you chose were so perfect for it. And that Rainbow Liger? Oh, I would have LOVED that one in either game. That one … I have a fondness for tigers of any kind, but throw rainbows and a Lion’s mane and you have my dream pet! Don’t give up, please submit again next year. You are really special
