I’m not a super consistent miner anymore but even when I was I always had trouble getting that Webkinz Diamond. 4 more gems to go though! Too bad I didn’t need bring my laptop on vacation, the Legendary Crown of Wonder will have to wait.

Same. I started in 2007.
It only took me a couple of years to get my first crown after I first joined. I’ve gained a few more over the following years, but never really kept them. But way to go on gaining the Crown of Wonder!
I have won probably a dozen crowns (keep one in gold safe with other gold crowns in my “vault” room) but have traded or sold the others & rarely go to mines anymore… good luck to anyone who has not yet gotten, always seemed easy to me, sure you can do it!! k.
It also took me ten years! I now have two of them though haha
Is it just me, or is it so much harder to find gems in the mines these days? I’ve gotten more than one crown – one did not show up in my dock >:( – but nowadays 9 times out of ten I get slag. Or the same 5 gems.
It does seem like it is harder to find gems lately. I always went toward the back, and I’ve been wondering if they moved them to the front, or are they not putting out as many gems for us to find? Would like to know.
I’ve had 3 crowns of wonder and sold back 2 of them for $2000 KinzCash. Not too shabby! Now I save all my gems to trade with Doug.
I also have 3 Crowns of Wonder except I’ve kept them all. And, now I also save all my gems so I can trade with Doug. I’m on #16 – trying to get the small blue geode. Once I finish, I want to start again.
I’ve never even seen Doug, but I haven’t really looked for him either. I’m collecting 5 of each gem right now because I’ve already collected so many crowns. Any tips on catching Doug?
SillyGoose9, catching Doug in his clubhouse room can be tricky. I have had the best luck looking in the afternoon hours, say 5, 6, 7ish. But I have seen him in the morning before at 11. I’ve also seen him at 3. You just have to remember to check often. Also, you have to take the same pet to meet him, otherwise you’ll begin at the start which is a rocky road ice cream. Each pet has their own quest with Doug. So you can keep going after one pet completes.
I read some old posts about trying to find Doug and it sure helped. He is there every day for one hour. Say, for instance, 2:00 p.m. – if you check any time between 2 – 3 p.m. and he is not there, then you know you can leave and not come back until after 3:00 p.m. Also, once you arrive, make sure you walk around a little. A few times he was not there when I first arrived, and did not appear until I walked around. The most important thing is what KarenaJ mentioned: bring the same pet EVERY time (I wrote it down so I don’t forget) so you can collect all the prizes. Hope this isn’t confusing.
I hit a standstill, once he began asking for 3 rare gems, I had run out, I had plenty of W gems but ran out of the heart shaped ruby and he wanted 2 of them. So he demoted me lol and now I’ll have to take a while longer to save up more. It’s really fun to save them up, but I am going through a rut right now, I only find common gems that I have 4, 5, 6 and even 7 of. So it’s taking me a while but I am determined to keep going! Best of luck :)

I have 4 Crowns of Wonder. I had originally planned to get one for each of my pets, but I started adopting pets way faster than I was collecting gems! I am very close to getting my 5th crown, but I still need an Earth Emerald.
You need to hunt all through the flea floater mine for the earth emerald
