Cool, you guys put my video up! Thanks, Sally! In response to many of the comments, yes, this project took a LONG time to complete. A little back story: When the Freaky Forest theme was introduced 2 Halloweens ago, I was inspired to start designing what I call “landscape rooms”. Most of the rooms shown in Chapter One I designed that year, and with them came the beginnings of an epic adventure story…..do you guys make up stories in your heads while you design rooms, too? The following year, the Haunted Hotel theme was released and I could see where the tale was going next. (Look for The Quest for the Freaky Forest, the Haunted Hotel, coming soon!) Yes, that will be Chapter Two. But there’s even more to the tale….
But first, more back story. My dear husband is by profession a writer/producer/editor. He is not a Webkinz player, but he is, as you can imagine, an extremely good sport. I told him I wanted to make my first ever You Tube video of my story & asked him for help. When he read the story he said, “This is really very good. BUT. This is MUCH too long! You have not written a You Tube video, you have written a short film. We’re going to have to shoot this as a trilogy or no one on You Tube will ever take the time to watch it!” Oops. So that is why there will be (SPOILER ALERT!) not only a Chapter Two, but also a Chapter Three! We are currently wrapping up Two and are in pre-production on Three. Sorry it’s taking so long, it’s a lengthy process done in our spare time. I’m really happy that you guys are enjoying the story!
