When you adopt a Webkinz pet while it’s the Pet of the Month, you’ll receive a loot bag filled with some cool things, including a gift box containing special items you won’t find anywhere else.
We’ve recently been featuring these prizes in our Close Up series in 3 parts: Part 1, Part 2, and Part 3.
On June 4th, we will be adding 3 NEW prizes to the pool of Pet of the Month prizes (stay tuned to the announcement on Webkinz Newz to see them). To make room for the new prizes, on that same day we will be retiring 2 older prizes: the Super Stunt Unicycle and the Steller Star Blaster.

aggh man, i wish i would’ve known this beforehand, i would’ve chosen the unicycle- it’s one of the few items i haven’t gotten yet! boo! well, off to the trading room we go….!
I have them, but I think that I will snag one more of each for good measure.
Unless you are planning on fixing them in the future, the tv and snow blower could be retired as well, since they do not work and haven’t for years. Does the Star Blaster work? I know there’s at least one other prize in the current pool that doesn’t work. Excited to see what’s new though, and use some of my saved up POTM bags.
I just got the star blaster and tested it. It doesn’t work. :( HOWEVER, I wonder if some of the broken animated items will work again once they release the browser version.
It’s been a While since you retired any of the Pte of the Month Exclusives, so it will be exciting to see what you have to replace them! I have had these for a while already. Honestly, though, could you retire that Blocky Nafaria, instead? She just doesn’t fit the culture.

I used the blocky Nafaria for my Nafaria room! But other than that you’re right, I have no idea where else it would work pff

I’m glad I have the unicycle. I sure miss the days when we could go into a store and pick up the new pet of the month. Picking out any other pet we liked was fun too. I miss those early pets they looked like our own pets.

Me, too!! I can’t believe that Ganz, who is known for their stuffed animals wouldn’t be making them again after resolving the problem that caused them to originally stop. I know they do well on e-store pets, but I believe they would, also, make money on the plush pets, as well. There are so many requests for them. I would be buying both and several sets of them since I have numerous accounts and used to buy the plushes for all of them every month. And, I know I wasn’t the only one as I used to have to go at the beginning of every month as, otherwise, they were sold out.
