To my fellow citizens of Kinzville,
For the last 2 years it has been my honor to serve as your mayor. In that time, I hope that I have carried myself with the same sense of compassion, competence and courage that you remember from my days at the clinic. Continuing to make Kinzville a caring place has always been my number one priority.
I’ve enjoyed meeting so many of you during my visits to the Kinzville Park. It was a great opportunity for me to listen to your thoughts and concerns about our shared community. I was listening when those of your with large families of pets said it was hard to take care of so many every day. To help alleviate that burden, I’m proposing that we create an additional way to care for your pets.
In the same way that we added Happiness, Hunger, Energy and Family Score boosts to all showers during my tenure as mayor, I believe we should do the same for saunas. We released one as a Deluxe Day prize this past year, but if I’m re-elected, I will make it my priority to make one that’s available to everyone, and to make all saunas provide care for your pets.
Democracy is a precious thing because when everyone participates, it holds our government officials responsible for their actions. I hope you feel I have served you well as your mayor, and would be honored for the opportunity to continue building an even more successful future.
Remember voting opens on Thursday, November 29th, until Sunday, December 2nd. I hope you will consider voting for me, Dr. Quack, the name you trust!
Take care, Kinzville!
*P.S. – I am once again visiting the Kinzville Park from today until Wednesday, November 28th! I hope you can drop by to show your support. As a thank you, I’m giving away a gift box containing a random campaign item. You can see them here.
Dang… I’m so torn right now… I really want Doc to stay, but I love Sophie’s campaign promise… This is gonna be a tough one this year. During the last elections, Doc took 50% of the overall votes. 50 percent! I was amazed, but I’m kinda nervous now, because Sophie does seem very promising. Anyhow, good luck to all the candidates! And good luck to veteran of Webkinz, my favorite for all time, Doctor/Mayor Quack!
his promise is that everyone will be able to get a SAUNA? i know he’s the incumbent but… i might be voting for sophie.
motherk I agree!
VOTE SOPHIE. p.s. we are the flash.
I’m between Sophie and Dr Quack.. I think. PJ seems like she would be a good mayor too. And honestly it would be fun to have Dex as mayor. I really don’t know who I’m going to vote for yet.
Hey, hey, Resonating! Same here, Dex would be HILARIOUS as mayor. Remember on the forums about Dogbeard? COUGHCOUGHCOUGH
I just have one question. If Dr. Quack is no longer mayor, will he still be incorporated into Webkinz World? I mean, his clinic was shut down, and now from the sounds of it he is not going to be mayor (his campaign is too weak). Is this a way of Ganz phasing him out or what?
Ok, I really want to reelect Dr. Quack, but this kinda is not the best promise lol so I’m probably going to vote for Sophie
Sorry Quack, but I think Sophie has my vote. :)
I get the feeling I’m going to be disappointed in Sophie’s promise but she all but has a guarantee win since she’s promised free stuff. I’m voting for either Dex since I really could use those extra spree rolls. Maybe then I could actually collect all the prizes or Dr. Quack since he’s been a great mayor and new ways to care for pets is always welcome.
I think Dr. Quack should bring back his clinic. I’m not a big fan of the Happiness, Hunger, Energy and Family Score thing. It’s so annoying when it pops up and you have to stop what you’re doing and go play a game, give your pet a bath, or go to school or do a job! Sometimes I just want to play on Webkinz without having to do those things. Last night I was trying to work on rearranging some rooms, but was having to stop and “take care” of my pet for that “Family Score” thing. I would rather take my pets to see Dr. Quack. I do like Sophie’s promise of something from the eStore once a month. I do wish we could sell, trade, or mail the eStore items we don’t want, but since we can’t, I’m just going to find a way to use the ones I have that I don’t want. Maybe make a Museum Room, or a store where pets can pretend to buy items, or maybe just make storage rooms out of all the small size rooms I have and no longer want. I just think it would be nice to have some eStore items for our pets. I’m not a fan of Spree, nor do I want a sauna, since we have bath tubes. I don’t care for the idea of clothing on the WOW either. It would be like the Halloween clothing prizes. You could end up with just bits and pieces of items, and never get the entire outfit. Honestly, it doesn’t matter which candidate wins. It will still be fun playing in Webkinz World! :-)
I just keep mine asleep all the time when I am logged in. I know the have lives of their own when we’re offline from them because I’ve logged in and caught them out of bed and doing their own thing. This way, they don’t bother me when I am trying to tend to Webkinz business, and I don’t bother them while they are doing their own thing so they don’t have to suddenly freeze and pretend they don’t do these things when no one is looking.
“Democracy is a precious thing because when everyone participates, it holds our government officials responsible for their actions.” ~ What a wonderful lesson Dr. Quack is imparting on youngsters. Even if players are more wow’ed by another candidate’s campaign promise and vote for them instead of the current mayor, I hope each player takes Dr. Quack’s words to heart. Democracy is precious and provides the very best chance at a good life for everyone across the board. Thank you to Ganz and Webkinz World for being civically responsible and keeping the dream of democracy alive in our hearts. Some of us fight for the ideals of democracy in our private and public lives, and to see this idea be so encouraged in WW is heartening and makes me feel super good about sharing Webkinz with children. Good luck Dr. Quack and all the candidates in this year’s elections. Vote wisely! (ps, I hope the Miracle Tonic will still be available and work for our pets, even if Dr. Quack is not reelected.)
In a world of a whole lot of ‘gimme this, gimme that’ mentality, it is nice to read though I certainly hope that it crosses the mind of not just the youngsters. I feel there is a lot of selfishness across the whole spectrum. ☺
It seems so, doesn’t it. It’s a sad commentary when generosity and common decency are a surprise when they should be the given. Many seem to be so wrapped up in themselves that they can’t see beyond the margins of their home screen. I would hope that the Spirit of giving and compassion that is generally exhibited during this time of year overtakes us all and that we receive with a heart of gratitude.
