When choosing finalists for the Room Design Awards, I look for designs that tell a story in a simple screenshot, smaller rooms that are carefully crafted without feeling cluttered, or rooms that use a variety of items from various themes, but seem as though they were made to work together. Simply, I look for brilliant room designs, and these are just that!
There are some veteran room designers that deserve to be in the finals, but I tried to choose players who had never won a Room Design Trophy in the past.
Congratulations to the following 24 room designer… you have made it to the finals! Please look over each room design carefully. You’ll be able to vote for your favorites from June 12 – 14:
Congratulations finalists… and good luck!
Remember, 10 Room Design Trophies will be awarded this time around. Here’s how the winners will be chosen:
- 5 winners will be decided by a vote, right here on Webkinz Newz. From Friday, June 12 – Sunday, June 14 (ending @ midnight, EST), players can vote for their top 3 favorite designs and the 5 designers who receive the most votes will be awarded a Room Design Trophy.
- 4 winners will be chosen by the Webkinz Newz Team. Sally, Mandy, Steve and I will each choose our favorite room design and the designers will be awarded a Room Design Trophy
- The 10th winner will be chosen by the Webkinz staff

I love the Victorian Walled Garden, and I like so many of the others (like graduation and duck wedding and the flower garden and the hospital. What a shame we can only pick 3. Good luck to all the creative minds out there!
I judged these rooms pretty harshly and found that NINE of them are my favorites and deserve the Design Award. Nine! Each room was well-designed and deserves kudos, but how ever will I decide on only THREE?
Egg paint class needs more credit, it can be really hard to make a working theme out of Easter items.
Survivor tribal council is super creative, Liked Egg Paint Class and VIctorian walled Garden.
The country saloon is my favorite for sure, but they are all wonderful! Great job!
Gotta go with camping out by the oasis – so much detail and so perfect!
I love all of them! although I’d have to say my favorite are the drip cafe, wizard dorm, and the flower garden!
The Victorian Walled Garden, Star Maker Island, and Mountain drive are amazing!! GREAT JOB to ALL FINALISTS!!!
Wow! Such amazing rooms! Everyone is so creative and there are so many diverse and beautiful rooms. I was so surprised and I am so very humbly honored to see my room (Aleskar’s) included. Congratulations to all the nominees and Good Luck everyone!!
