Ugh. This is not exactly my idea of a great Valentine’s Day. I mean, it’s actually pretty fun, hanging out and watching movies with my friends, but I’ve been really jumpy. I keep worrying that any minute my house is going to be bombarded with unwelcome party guests.
Cowabelle said to relax and enjoy myself. It’s getting kind of late and she said that if anyone were going to turn up they would be here by now. I’m sure she’s probably right but I can’t help feeling a bit nervous still. I mean, my mom would freak if everybody from school was here when she got home.
What was that??? Oh no – it’s the doorbell! I’ve got to go see who it is. I feel a bit sick. It’s all starting…
Hey, I’m back! So guess who that was? It was not a horde of rowdy party goers if that’s what you’re thinking (because I was totally thinking that!) It was Stoogles. He just came over to stay that he realized that he crossed the line and he wanted to apologize. Isn’t that sweet? He even brought a giant heart shaped box of chocolates – but he was very insistent that the chocolates were for ALL four of us, not for anyone in particular. (Don’t flatter yourself, Stoo. It’s not like we’re all going to be fighting over you!)
Phew! Stoogles and I are buds again, and I didn’t have to head off a major party. Looks like this is a pretty good Valentine’s Day after all. I’m going to catch the rest of the movie now.

Hooray! Salley needs a bit of a bright spot about now, so I am glad that has happened for her. Who knows what the future will hold? There are some people I no longer trust … So glad that Stoogles saw the light, too. Losing a friend is always hard, and I am glad that has not happened here. All the best! MDIChickadee
