Collect Acorns throughout September to win prizes you can use to build a Main Street for your pets to enjoy!
Here’s how it works: From September 1 – 30, look for the Acorn Collection icon on your Kinzville Map on the Webkinz Classic Desktop App, and click on it to see your collection:
You’ll get one free Acorn every day, just for clicking on the collection icon (Deluxe Members will get two free Acorns a day).
Once you have received your free Acorn, you can get five more throughout the day by asking your friends (by clicking the ASK FRIENDS button) or by finding and clicking on the floating Acorn on WebkinzNewz.com (make sure you collect your free one first before trying to find one on Webkinz Newz).
Need more friends to help you complete your collection? Click the ASK FRIENDS button, then click the NEED MORE FRIENDS? button to see other players looking for friends and add them to your Friends List.
Here’s a closer look at each prize and how many Acorns you’ll need to collect to win each one:
Each prize has a function:
- Click on the Main Street Mailbox to access KinzPost
- Store food in the Main Street Market
- Use the Main Street General Store to access the WShop
- Store KinzCash coins in the Main Street Bank
- Use the Main Street Theater to access the Webkinz Studio

Nice, but could have been prizes for any other time than Fall. These are really “Fall” type prizes. So, yes…I’m disappointed and really not excited about this Acorn Collection Event. I do like the “Main Street Market”, but wish it were a food item dispenser instead of storage. Still, I’m glad many of the Webkinz players love these. I just wish we could have had a FALL themed Acorn Collection! We need more FALL themed items, buildings, etc! :-/

Must admit that these don’t really excite me. It’s a long story, but for most of September I will probably have limited computer and internet access. So if you normally ask me (or bobme248 or rach1794) during a collection event you may want to ask another friend. I am hoping to make it through at least once.
I am very sorry, as I know how frustrating that can be. I think it is very sweet that you are thinking of your friends, and giving us a heads up. We will be there for you when you get back. On a related note, I have a family member in poor health, and there may be times when I am helping out at their home, and not able to connect every day. My main and 2 sides are: kalcan8, Isaiah4031, and explosive1. I will send acorns whenever I can. Praying for better days soon!

How clever and efficient of the creators of this to make things that are, actually, useful!! The Bank is my favorite to store coins I keep in case I need to send them to another account to purchase something like a rare item in the curio shop that you are only able to purchase one. Great ideas here!

No, these won’t be sent to Next. Next doesn’t really support fence items like these buildings
