Sneak Peek: Ghost Hunt in Webkinz Next!

Something brand new is creeping up on us! It’s the Ghost Hunt in Webkinz Next!

From October 22 to 31, Next players can look for the ghost around Kinzville and in the Mines and catch it to earn cool costume pieces. The ghost only appears in one place at a time so when you spot it, let your friends know so you can all earn prizes!

Tell us in the comments – what will your pet dress up as for Halloween this year, a Pirate Empress or a Robot?

Watch Webkinz Newz for more details on how to catch the ghost in this spooktacular new event, and log into Webkinz Next every day this month to catch every bit of Halloween fun!

I only have a boy pet, but the pirate dress would look good on my future pet.

When I started Next back in October of 2020 when it was officially released, I bought that rainbow outfit even though I only had a boy husky at the time & then later I got the unicorn and put it on her. XD The bow is so pretty!

I’m hopeful that I will have good fortune finding Spooky on my days off, as I most likely won’t have time on the days that I work.

I hope the little ghostie isn’t too difficult to find, as I love the new costumes and hope to be able to get at least a full set of each. I have a suggestion for future Halloweens in Next. I don’t know how difficult it would be, but a great tradition in our area is Trunk-or-Treat. Many area churches, community centers and schools in our area offer them as a safe alternative (often during the daytime) for all of the little trick-or-treaters. The Next design team could have a bunch of cars with decorated trunks all around the town hall square on Halloween, or Halloween weekend. Webbies could dress up and walk around the path from trunk to trunk, clicking and receiving candies or prizes. (Some people offer non-food options for people with food allergies.) Trick-or-treating from station to station, and seeing how people decorate is my favorite part of Halloween!
