Vacations are coming soon to Webkinz Next! And what’s a vacation without a little recreation?
One of the most exciting features of the new vacation is taking your family fishing! Head to the boat at the end of the dock and climb aboard with your family for a fishing cruise!
When you get out to sea it’s time to cast off.
Here’s how it works:
Tap on the water to cast your line, then wait for a nibble. You’ll see the icon pop up when you have a fish on the line. Tap the icon.
A window will open on your screen showing your fish in the water, your reel, and your line tension.
Tap your reel – the green button in the bottom right corner of the interface – to reel in your fish.
Watch the tension on the line though! The line tension is shown in the window above the green button. As the red circle gets wider, the line is getting tauter. If the line tension is too great, the line will snap and the fish will get away!
You have three tries to get a fish on the line and reel in a fish without your line breaking.
While you’re fishing with your primary pet, the rest of your family is fishing too! You might see a window pop up showing fish that the other members of your family have caught!
You can choose to keep or sell every fish that you or your family reel in. That’s a maximum of six fish per vacation. The ones you keep go in your collection at the Travel Agency. It’s similar to your Gem Collection at the Curio Shop.
Best of all, if you’ve brought a baby or child along on your vacation, every time you go fishing you have a chance of earning a fish in an aquarium that you can place in your pet’s room! A pet for your pet!

You are sort of in luck! At the end of the article it says that if you take your webbie child or baby on vacation, there is a chance of them earning a fish in an aquarium that will go in your room. What I think would be amazingly cool, was if your child webbie could click on the aquarium to “feed” their pet fish and earn points to fill their heart meter for doing their chores! Ganz design team, is this even possible? Please consider giving it a try!

Hopefully Kinzcash can be used to go on Vacation, I have been saving up in hopes it is the payment option! Can’t wait!!

Thank you SO much i have been waiting for sneak peek every day since the sneak peek of the vacation building checking everyday. This is so cool i really like fishing games. And you a chance for your OWN fish tank in next if you bring a baby or kid so neat. Now i am confused about another thing if you can collect fish does that mean there will be no swimming pets in next like there is in classic. Also would the vacation be for Kinz Cash or gems? It would be nice if it was for Kinz Cash. Thank you so much for posting this again.
Also forgot to ask is this going to be out before this season ends? I understand if you are not sure since you are making sure it is working alright and there are not glitch’s and such.
