Do you collect virtual plushies on your Webkinz Classic account? If so, you won’t want to miss Newz Week which runs from Monday, April 26 – Sunday, May 2 on Webkinz Classic!
On Monday, April 26, you’ll have to access the Newz Room at the Clubhouse. You can use the THINGS TO DO menu to get there:
Once you’re inside, you can click on Ella McWoof to get one of four Newz team plushies every day.
Plushies are awarded randomly, so you’ll want to visit Ella every day during Newz Week for the best chance to collect all four: Michael Webkinz, Steve Webkinz, Mandy Webkinz and Sally Webkinz:
There will also be a special challenge available during Newz Week. On April 26, click on the Newz Week Challenge icon on the left side of your screen to review your tasks.
There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, Sunday, May 2 (EST), to complete your challenge:
- Feed your pet 4 cans of Fizzy Newz Soda
- Earn 150 KinzCash playing Color Storm at the Games Arcade
- Add a Newz Team plushy to your pet’s room
You will need to feed your pet 4 cans of Fizzy Newz Soda to complete the challenge, and you’ll only be able to find them at webkinznewz.com. From April 26 – May 2, look for the daily floating Webkinz Newz Soda can and click on it to send it back to your account. Drag a can of Fizzy Newz Soda onto your Webkinz to feed your pet.
Players who manage to complete the Newz Week Challenge by midnight, Sunday, May 2 will win an Ella McWoof Plushy and a Webkinz Newz Chair!

These look wonderful! I really hope that a week is long enough to get them all. The last time that we collected host items, the ones for Steve seemed to be the most elusive. I really hope that other players are courteous and remember to step away from Ella McWoof’s desk after they receive their plushie for the day so they don’t get stuck blocking the line for all of the other players. We can go have a coffee in the staff lounge, pretend to operate the Newz camera, or just sit quietly on the white sofa and watch Ella work. But don’t just grab a gift and ‘poof’ from the room, because that’s just rude. Etiquette people – thank the lady kindly and mosey on down the line!

I once had a big room with lots of plushies on webkinz classic, but I lost my account and can’t get it back :( !! I now collect plushies on webkinz next :)

Hi Sally Webkinz, sorry to bother you but I have a quick question. I’ve been having an issue on Webkinz Classic where some of my items are invisible in my rooms. Even when I log out and log back in again they are still invisible. Other items appear almost superimposed on the screen– one example is I’ll see a miniature image of a bed like the Popstar Bed on the screen, even when I know I didn’t place it in the room. When I remove the item, it’s not the item that’s superimposed on the screen– the Popstar Bed I removed was actually a White Stool. This has happened in multiple rooms. I tried uninstalling and re-installing the app but that didn’t fix the issue. I was wondering if anyone else has been reporting similar issues. Again sorry to bother you and thank you so much! :)
