It’s already been a busy year with the 10th anniversary of Webkinz World, but we’ve only just begun! This summer we will be debuting “Webkinz X”, the next step in the continuing evolution of Webkinz!
Webkinz X will be a huge leap forward in the look and feel of the game, keeping everything you love, but adding some new and exciting elements!

GPS? I think you can exploore earth now! Webkinz I want my pets to take world tours. Will that be possible? Not with my plush they might get lost. If my plush webkinz are all stranded in the mmiddle of the Atlantic Ocean with little chance of survival I will be very mad.
I thought so too because of the first sneak peak which had a thing that people said was a “Pokeball” looked more like a suitcase with a puppy and a heart on it. ~webkinzrockz131~
Just please, for the love of all things good, don’t mess with the things to do menu. The last time you guys did that it was a total disaster!
For some reason, the map reminds me of nintendogs on the 3ds player. I wonder if YOU could control your pet and walk on the map.
Maybe it will be like an adventure kinda like the pokemon games where you travel around. i think webkinz should come out with a DS games, that would be amazing!
I hope so for the first one. The second isn’t as appealing because that would be more difficult to keep all your pets. If it connects to the internet however and you just log in, that would be great!
I cannot believe that they’re changing it… I play the game poptropica, and they changed the “look and feel” of it really recently, and I don’t like it. It’s probably because I don’t like change, but whenever I here a game saying that it’s going to change, but “it’s going to be the same game you love!” I never like it as much as I like the original way. :/ I’m very skeptical about this new Webkinz X….

@KCCares you could be right with the XBox idea. With the little map in circle I thought GPS. I wonder if they will make larger homes more easily accessible and and pets easier to find on a map. Then I don’t have to spend so much time looking for things and pets :)
I’m dreading this update… I hope it’s a good change. And maybe it’ll be kind of like where you can go over to your friends houses whenever you want instead of them inviting you. Or not. I dunno.
I don’t think I would like random friends walking around my house without permission. LOL
