It’s already been a busy year with the 10th anniversary of Webkinz World, but we’ve only just begun! This summer we will be debuting “Webkinz X”, the next step in the continuing evolution of Webkinz!
Webkinz X will be a huge leap forward in the look and feel of the game, keeping everything you love, but adding some new and exciting elements!

With the icons on the left being meters, and the top one on the right is to dress your pet, perhaps the paw print is what you click to care for your pet – feed, groom, etc? Not really sure…
I think the paw print might be to switch the pet you’re playing with.
ooooh! so now your pet’s sleep, hunger, and happiness will all somehow effect their health? and i agree with what someone else said, that the images sure do look like the style used on webkinz mobile. ~ Madman with a Box
I have more of a feeling it’s for mobile because the bottom bar is MUCH more filled up than 3 bars. :P ~Webkinzrockz131~

This looks much like Webkinz mobile elements. Hmmm…… very weird.
This is making me uncomfortable. I’ve been playing since 2006 so this update gonna take some getting used to!
has webkinz ever manjorly updated? royablle i have been playing for 2 years now and its never changed a whole lot

I used to play about 8 years ago, and looking back, the HUD looked almost exactly the same, if I remember correctly. I think it needs a change. .<. Also, I wish I was notified when someone replies to my comments. ._.'
Maybe it’s friends, or to view all of your pets.
I think that this might be replacing daily kinzcare. I think that the heart that’s in the middle will fill up depending on how much we take care of our pets. It does say that taking care of your pets will be something special. But overall, I think that webkinz X is gonna be a new look for webkinz, kind of like how they changed the W-Shop last year. (And BTW, it really did need a new and more modern look!)
Very scared if this evolution!
