Hi everyone, Steve Webkinz here. In today’s special report, I’m going to take a look at some specialty storage items.
For those that don’t like a lot of clutter in their Docks or rooms, storage items can offer the perfect solution for keeping everything neat and tidy.
When we first launched Webkinz World, the only storage items we had were toyboxes and fridges. Since then, we’ve expanded to allow wardrobes and closets to store clothing. We also have “Swatch Closets” that can store away Wallpaper and Flooring. While most are only sold at the eStore, the Samples Style Cabinet is available for KinzCash in the Storage subcategory of the WShop!
If you have a lot of coupons cluttering your Dock, the Ganz eStore has a Couponer’s Chest of Drawers to help you store them away.
This past St. Patrick’s Day, we gave away a Lucky Coin Box, which can be used to store away all of your collectible coins!
We now also have 2 garages which can be used to store away some of your pet’s favorite vehicles! The Tie-Dyed Garage is sold at the eStore, and the Garage Shed was given away as a prize to members during our June 2018 Deluxe Day!

*Please Note: We are aware of the issues with some vehicles not going into the garages and the Garage Shed only storing 12 of 15 vehicles. Both of these issues should be fixed after our next site update maintenance on July 4th.
So happy to see a special on storage items in estore today. We really need a storage item for wall decorations. I store them now in rooms that I use for storage, closet rooms, and food storage. Please make something for this and please have it for KC. I have numerous wall paper storage cabinets and it made them affordable by using KC.
The Whimsical Wallpaper Closet hurts my brain. There is no way the doors could open. That shape makes it impossible to fit the doors with functional hinges. I don’t care how whimsical it is… it’s an engineering failure. The only way I can think of to save it is to put the hinges in the middle and the knobs toward the outside so the doors meet in the middle when they are open, dividing the closet in half.
Push in on both knobs. The doors fold together on their piano hinge as they go into the closet, thus dividing the closet in half, just as you mentioned. For those who don’t know what a “piano hinge” is, it is one long continuous hinge, running full length.
Your post made me laugh, an engineer’s nightmare, LOL!
This is off topic of storage, but i have a question if anyone has an idea. The POM next month, the Shiba Inu, I see it is native bred in Japan. I can’t think of any Japanese decor, inside or outside. Is there either in estore or wshop?
I am not sure if the Ichiban room theme is Japanese, but I would think that that was the best option. I hope this can help!

There’s something in the estore called the Origami Water wheel that would look great in a Japanese garden. The animation on it still does not work, sadly. I wish they’d finish fixing things like they said they would 3 years ago when “X” happened.
i would like something to put the actor sets in that go to the playset. they sit in my dock & i am not sure what to do with them
They go into the Webkinz Studio. Just buy the Studio from the same Fun Stuff section of the WShop where you buy the actors and the playsets. When you open up the studio, you’ll see an option to add the actors and playsets. Drag and drop the actors and playsets from your Dock into the Studio to add them.
I have a coupon (I got in the “things to do” coloumn (in the game) and a box of choclate from valentines day.
The only problem with storing things is that you then have no idea where things are (or at least I don’t)! would love to see an enhanced dock that would show you which room things were in – possibly when you hovered over the item – or a pop up list that would show items and locations (room or dock). I have trouble figuring out what’s furniture or decoration!

I would love to have a search feature to help locate which rooms have a particular item. My house is getting so large and I have so much stuff in storage rooms and closet room that it’s hard to remember where everything is.
Yes! Please! I agree. I would love a search / locator feature.
I’ve hoped for a search feature like that for 10 years. in the meantime I keep a notebook with reminders of lots of things, including where important things are stored. Which room, which wardrobe or chest, etc. The problem with that is you always have to be sure to put things away when you’re done with them or you’ll lose them again. An account search feature would solve everything!!! Even a dock search feature would be an enormous help.
Where can I purchase the Couponer’s Chest of Drawers?
Hi keuka01, it’s supposed to be eStore but I looked for quite a while just now and even used the search option but I didn’t find it. Maybe it is not available at this time? Does anyone know? I would like to get that.
@keuka01, Great question! Thank you for asking! @EmeraldCity, I appreciate you looking into that. It would be nice if when we receive a report on a cool item, that it would be available. Maybe these replies of yours and keukaw01 will help. What I think would awesome is if we could earn it, like a Community Challenge or Collection. I’m sure many of us would enjoy it being available to those who can’t afford eStore but would be willing to work for it.

I know this is off topic, but I haven’t been able to complete the Peek-a-Newz for the last three days. I can find the Scribble Pup twice, and then it just stops. Anyone else having this issue? Or is it just me?
It’s been working for me, but I noticed other people commenting that it has not been working for them.
Peek a Newz is finally working for me today – first time since Friday morning, so looks like it was fixed – and I just won the Mosaic Tile this morning!

Ok folks, why would you tell us about the Couponer’s Chest of Drawers if it weren’t currently available in the estore and just happened to cycle through from time to time. That’s like one of the coller items available and I’ve never come across it in all the years I’ve been visiting the estore. If you are going to promote it could you make it a regular storage item, it would be appreciated !!!
SIGH! Well, that explains why both my husband and I hunted through both the Estore and the store in game and found absolute nothing of the couponers chest. :-( Why even bother mentioning it if we can’t buy it? :-(
I don’t know about the couponers chest but I searched and searched for the Tie Dyed Garage and finally found it was the psi for the Tie Dyed Pony. Could the Chest possibly be a pets psi?
The Tie Dyed Garage is the perfect match item for the Tie Dyed Pony, while the Tie Dyed Pickup Truck is the pony’s PSI. Currently the only way to get the garage is to buy the estore package including both the pony and the garage.
The Tie Dye Garage is a companion item not a PSI. The Tie Dye Pony’s PSI is a Tie Dye Truck, which can go in the Tie Dye Garage that was first offered at the Ganz Estore, I believe it was last year, as a companion item for the Tie Dye Pony. I hope this helps. ♪♫LadyBeauty♪♫
