Hi everyone, Steve Webkinz here. In today’s special report, let’s take a look at the return of badges!
Badges were launched as part of My Page, one of the more complicated and little used parts of Webkinz World. The main problem with the badges was that only 3 could be displayed at a time on the My Profile page, plus players never knew how to earn any of them.
To fix this, we’ve added a My Badges button in the Things to Do menu where you can easily access your collection of Badges.
Not only can you see the badges you’ve already earned, you can also see all of the badges that can still be unlocked. And better yet—if you want to know how to earn a badge, all you have to do is click on it! The name of the Badge and a description on how to earn it will appear at the top.
There are some badges that can no longer be earned because the functionality or section where it could be unlocked no longer exists, so those badges have been retired. If you already earned one of these badges, it will still appear in your collection—but if you haven’t, it will not appear.
My Badges will also be added to the Webkinz mobile app after the next app update. Badges that can only be earned while using the website version of Webkinz are noted by the text “(Web only)” appearing at the end of the badge description.
Now with all of these badges to unlock, there’s more reason to play Webkinz every day!

Hi Steve. Thanks for all your updates! My family members were really excited about this new feature of looking over their badges in each account and how to earn them. We also had trouble getting one this week. We tried earning one on two separate accounts (making a mega recipe on a mega stove) but didn’t receive the badge. We used mega stoves in our accounts and the one in the Diner, but with no luck. (The recipe was the one given with the stove and one from the Webkinznewz, so we figured they should have worked.) We’ll try again another time.
yes, i have a problem with that badge as well.I have made many a mega recipe yet i do not have the badge, nor do i have the over 8 hosts badge, though i have well over 8 hosts.
I would have to check, but I think that you only get that one if you are the first one to make a new recipe or perhaps the one to solve a recipe.
Oh, that would make sense if that was the case. We also have more than 8 hosts and no badge, but I figured that happened for us while the badges were ‘down’. Thanks for your replies ladysparklez99 and megamom12.
Can you please fix the TVs so we can watch shows on them again? I loved to watch the shows on the TVs.
Thanks for bringing back the ‘My Badges’ feature from My Page. Honestly, that was the only part of My Page that I missed. If, down the road, you do bring back My Page, could you please include a feature that allows for total privacy? I never cared for people knowing what I was up to.

“My Page, one of the more complicated and little used parts of Webkinz World”? I LOVED My Page! Every time I went on Webkinz, I would update it! I was so sad to see it go! I loved customizing it and writing stories. I wish I could see it again someday…

I am having a problem with one of the new badges. I placed 4th in a scheduled stadium event and I didn’t get the badge for it. The criteria says “Place 4th to 10th in any scheduled stadium event at the Webkinz Stadium and you’ll win this badge!”, this is exactly what I did, although I didn’t win the badge. Although the badge’s name is “Stadium Athletic Achievement Badge” so even though it says “any” competition does it have to be running?
I had a look through. I believe I saw 300 pets and 500 pets badges, but you don’t recommend more than 100 pets on an account; I have around 125 on my first account and about 60 odd on my second. How do we get those badges?
Hi Steve Webkinz, thanks for the Special Report on the return of the Badges! I did not realize how many badges I have earned. It is so nice to look at them all. The few that I do need there seems to be a problem when I do the assigned task I am not getting credit. I’m sure everyone else is experiencing the same problems and the technicians are working on it as I write. The badge that I will be earning next and I can wait, probably the next day or two will be the Ultimate Webkinz Collector Badge – For adopting 300 pets.
I had the same problem with multiple badges and when I contacted support was told to read the user agreement better.. :(
Craftie Canaries – I have the trophy why don’t I have the badge ? WHAT is different ?
AGAIN I have CRAFTY CANARIES TROPHY ! WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE in the BADGE and the trophy I just don’t get it ( lost please answer) ?
I agree. I make it to level 10 all the time and I don’t have a badge. I am not sure what I need to do to earn that one.
Moneysmiles05 To get that badge you to: Get each 1 of the 10 colored pieces on the structure in one level of Crafty Canaries to win this badge. But in order to get the Trophy (congrats on that) You either have to get to a certain level or complete the game, but you don’t have to do the color piece to complete a level.
