Hi everyone, Steve Webkinz here. In today’s special report, let’s take a look at the return of badges!
Badges were launched as part of My Page, one of the more complicated and little used parts of Webkinz World. The main problem with the badges was that only 3 could be displayed at a time on the My Profile page, plus players never knew how to earn any of them.
To fix this, we’ve added a My Badges button in the Things to Do menu where you can easily access your collection of Badges.
Not only can you see the badges you’ve already earned, you can also see all of the badges that can still be unlocked. And better yet—if you want to know how to earn a badge, all you have to do is click on it! The name of the Badge and a description on how to earn it will appear at the top.
There are some badges that can no longer be earned because the functionality or section where it could be unlocked no longer exists, so those badges have been retired. If you already earned one of these badges, it will still appear in your collection—but if you haven’t, it will not appear.
My Badges will also be added to the Webkinz mobile app after the next app update. Badges that can only be earned while using the website version of Webkinz are noted by the text “(Web only)” appearing at the end of the badge description.
Now with all of these badges to unlock, there’s more reason to play Webkinz every day!

Ganz team is fixing it. They know it is not working. These repairs take time to finish. We need to be patient.
Are you bringing back “my page”?
I have been working on many badges since the update and I am sure I earned several but I they did not get added to my account also.
Same here. I contacted customer service and they basically say according to your user agreement nothing is guaranteed and they can’t award you the badges you deserve. Really what is the purpose of completing the required tasks when we will not get the badges???? Why isn’t anyone responding to any of these comments? Is anyone working on fixing the problem with badges not being awarded??? It would be nice to know we are being heard and if the problem with badges not being awarded will be fixed.
Hi Steve! I finally guessed the correct number of jelly beans on the very day the badges came back, but I do not have that badge! :-( Is there any way I can get my badge? I have the giant jar of jelly beans in my dock, so you can see that I really did guess the right number.
Thanks for bringing back the badges. I was shocked by how many I’ve managed to earn! Most of them, really, minus the ones for over 50 pets and winning the high levels of the various games and advanced Tournament Arena stuff. Guess I’ll have to work on that next. I also need to adopt a fish! I have earned but am missing about half a dozen badges: Open a Signature Endangered gift box (I’ve done this numerous times), Adopt any Bird (Rainbow Macaw), Get Five Pests playing Jumbleberry Fields (such a sad roll!), Send a Friend a message on Valentines Day with a Heart Sticker (I’ve sent dozens), Win a Quick Tournament at the Tournament Arena (it’s been done). I never paid much attention to the badges before & am really surprised at how many of them there are.
The Valentines sticker was retired. I know a few of them are and won’t be able to be activated. It’s sad, but that’s the way sticker collecting is in RL, too. If you miss the special ones you may never have an opportunity to complete your collection. A lot of us are completionist/perfectionists and it gets under our skin if we can’t accomplish what we set out to do. Maybe we need a list of which ones we won’t win because they are retired so we don’t constantly wait for that badge announcement.
5 years later and I concur – I’d really like a list of the ones that are retired. The Valentine’s Day one didn’t work for me this year or last year. Neither did the Wacky Trophy one, even though I’ve got 3 of the trophies in my dock to show I scored 600+ at least 3 times. Strange, though, that others like the Teacher’s Pet badge are still being awarded with no apparent issue.
I think it would be great to also have a separate tab under My Badges to show the retired badges instead of having them mixed in with the active ones. That way us perfectionists could still have the satisfaction of achieving all the badges we can and seeing those that aren’t possible anymore.

Have adopted specific pets…don’t have the pet specific badges. Have earned specific trophies…don’t have the specific badges. Guess some glitches have to be worked out still.
There are 2 badges that I should have but do not. 1 is the open an Endangered animal box I did that, I have 3 Endangered Pets, the other is win 3 Wacky 600 trophies during wacky celebration , I have 1 badge that said I won 3 Wacky 600 trophies but there is 2 badges that said you need to do the same to get them, I only have 1.

I read the description of how to earn the builder foreman badge for Crafty Canaries, and I don’t understand what it means. I’ve completed the game a couple of times, but I don’t know how to get the badge.
