Why isn”t there a game or someway for us to earn estore points to shop at the estore/ganz so that those who are on limited budgets have some spend points as well…The economy makes it hard for those parents that have minimal incomes…Help make it fun and worthwhile for all. Please. … Thank you…
*sigh and shake my head* what a debate! before i commented, i had to scroll to the top to remember what the article was about. i personally hate the e-store (a huge waste of money, i’d rather get the plush toys!) but lighten up. everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

This is called SWEEPS. In May all the media is looked at and their funding and popularity is measured. That’s why on TV is all the finales right now for shows. So Ganz wants it too look like there are alot of people buying and being on here.

Webkinz is offering options for different levels of users. (Customers) It is meant to be fun. Lighten up on “fair”. Also, there is a level of teaching in there regarding the budget whether kinz cash or the real cash money…
What i would like to see is a sort of compromise between the two viewpoints. For those that like the e-store and want an easy way to acquire items, I say it’s fine. But for the child whose parents don’t have the money to spend on “e-items” that creates an issue. Why not allow these items into a special section of the W-Shop or Arte’s with SUBSTANTIALLY HIGHER prices, much like the RARE items. That option would allow members to work toward an item they want if they don’t to (or more realistically CAN’T) afford to pay the extra cash for the item. Let’s say the waterfall is $9.00 from the e-store, but it’s $28,000 KinzCash. It takes a while to make that much KinzCash, but at least you would have the option of getting the item with shelling out real $$. Make the items available once a month (like the first or last day) and then you would have to wait another month before you could get it. Just a suggstion.

The reason eStore items cost money is because they have to higher many more staff who they must pay. eStore items take more graphic art and programming. For example, if they want to make a pool that will fit 10 pets instead of 1, it will take more work on more programming. The items do cost too much, but if you enjoy it, why not? If you want to wise about spending your money, then good for you. There is no right or wrong answer. Most kids will grow out of Webkinz, but some people start playing, buying, and collecting at 20, 50, 90! It may also seem ridiculous if you play as an adult, but your life doesn’t last forever and you only get one chance, so be yourself and ENJOY it! Though limits are needed. You want to be in the real world too! Another issue is that Webkinz is now free after signing up. You get less features, but they are still letting you play. They can’t afford to give free members all the features. They have more ads now which many people don’t like, but the advertisers are paying Webkinz to put there ads up. They are basically paying them have the money to give you the free account access after your account expires. Now they may have to push for you to buy more since they are mostly running on ad profit. They need some way to make up for that loss of profit. If no one buys eStore, Webkinz will eventually go bankrupt without a way to pay internet and website fees, staff, domaine name fees, etc. They are even paying people to moderate the posts right now! And have you noticed all the free prizes lately? Ads. All the FREE ESTORE giveaways and pets and Deluxe Memberships? They could have sold those. They are giving it away free. And if they just charged more Kinzcash for eStore items, they would make no profit, there would be no way to pay the people who created the extra special items. And why are they extra special? Becuase they are bought with real money from the eStore! They cost more to make as they are much more complex! I make and sell jewelry online. I can’t just give it away free! Same thing with the eStore. They can’t work that hard just to give the items away free, even if it’s just a picture on a screen. I also make digital animations. Those take me weeks and they are so much simpler than eStore animated items! I don’t program them or anything. I just draw them. But even that’s hard! I may become a graphic designer. I can’t just give my graphic design skills for free! Same with the creators of eStore items. What do you think of eStore now?

How long have you had your Webkinz for?! Webkinz just recently here in the past few months started letting everybody play partly, because back in 2007 my friend’s account expired, SHE COULDN’T PLAY WEBKINZ ANYMORE. Get your facts straight before you point fingers at anybody else. Also, I partly agree with Rontuaroo, and Rontuaroo isn’t giving you Deluxe members a bad name, you are. How would you like it if YOU worked at a digital graphics place, spend 36 hours A WEEK drawing things on the computer, and being paid in KINZCASH. -.-
Webkinz can’t afford to pay people if they just give all of the people’s hard work away for FREE. Sure, some people (like me) want to save money to buy things in real life, because for $9.00 I could buy a little mini one for my house IN REAL LIFE. But, other people would disagree and buy those things. They cost MONEY because like Rontuaroo said, they are probably designed better than regular KC items. I’m not going to take anybody’s side here because in a way it’s actually sensible.
I know we are not allowed to say our age, but I’m not even NEAR the age to go to college and yes, I am getting kind of tired of Webkinz. Another reason for the ‘outrageous’ prices is to make new features for Webkinz players that get bored easily. They can’t just design it and not get paid! … It’s just common sense people! -.-
RONTUAROO I am so glad people like you are on Webkinz Newz. I hope a lot of people read your (veeeeeeeeery long) post because they might rethink what they think about the estore. Even at first i disagreed with it but i thought about it more and there are just two sides to it. Its not horrible. The problem with having pets and items available with kinzcash is that kinzcash is not real cash. Ganz can’t live their real world lives off of it. You don’t go to the grocery store and pay them with kinzcash.The people who work for ganz needs money to have food and clothes and they get that money from people like us who buy their product and we must pay with real $

It isn’t just paying money on pixels, it’s paying money on items for your webkinz account . If it makes you happy, then why not do it? People say that the estore isn’t fair to the people who aren’t allowed, but that’s the whole point. The people that pay more get advantages that others who didn’t pay don’t. So, those who hate estore, just think about that first
Same as anything else–it expires, perishes, you outgrow it, you play it then done, you watch it, then go. Maybe people shouldn’t buy a TV–that’s only pixels.
I think candy is a waste. You eat it and it’s gone and it added nothing to your current or future health, but it tastes good.

They are just trying to sell their items and get you to buy their product, just like when adds on TV come on and they say BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE!! BUY NOW AND blah blah you know the rest ;) When you see those adds do you constantly say negetive things like on here?

If you choose to that’s OKAY and if you choose not to that”s OKAY, too. I do think however that spending 15,000 everyday for the next four days is a little bit to exspensive for me. Many people hate your estore with the high prices. I personally think that the estore is fine but they need to lower the prices.

I think they should deffently lower eStore pet prices. Plush ones at stores are normally $12.50, and that’s a decent price since you get a toy you can play with offline and a lovable one online, shouldn’t eStore pets be about $6.00 since the buyers don’t get a huggable plush toy? I have been trying to get Ganz to listen to this, because it will make a lot of people happy, but it seems like they don’t listen to common sense.
I don’t like the e-store. Spending real money on pictures of items just doesn’t seem fair to me. The e-store pets are an O.K. idea, because some people just don’t need more plush ones, but the items aren’t worth it. I mean, what will all these people do if they get bored of webkinz after spending hundreds of dollars here?
You are so right. If people get bored of webkinz after spending all that money, they’ll be sorry they ever spent it and wish they’d just forgoten the eStore. IT’s throwing away your money! Just put ALL the eStore items in the Wshop, curio shop and PJ’s kinzstyle outlet.

EllySilverStar, that would be a fantastic idea! Because the estore stuff is pretty sweet! BUT the really cool stuff should be some of Arte’s rare items. Like the carmel soup slide should be like as rare as the movie screen, okay maybe not that rare. ;)
I am afraid, I utterely don’t agree at all. I don’t use estore and am glad I don’t. . Lets say one day, your parents actually let you use the estore! You think that is amazing, you’ll get special items and everyone will think you have great taste. If all those fantastic items went to the W-shop, Curio shop and KinzStyle Outlet, nothing would seem special, right? Suddenly, everyone will have gotten it and you just become someone who have what everyone else has. That is why I don’t go to the Kinzstlye Outlet, I go to the KinzStyle Shop, they have exclusive clothing. -1000Silverstar

And you think you’ll never get tired of playing with stuffed animals? That you won’t grow out of those? Won’t you regret buying those too? If it brings you fun and enjoyment, then it’s worth it. I’ve bought a lot of estore items, and yes I know at some point I probably won’t play. That’s okay, I had a lot of fun with it. Sooo no you never really grow out of having fun and games.

I agree. The e-store is not very fair even, for the people who can’t afford e-store pets and items. The e-store just costs way to much and isn’t very fair for all the webkinz players and fans.
