A brand-new Pet Medallion event starts today on Webkinz Classic!
Starting on December 1, look for Gingerbread Kitten Pet Medallions floating across your screen on Webkinz Classic, and click on them to add them to your collection (limited to 4 per day, 5 for Deluxe players).
If you manage to collect 100 medallions by December 31, you’ll be able to adopt this pet for free!
As a special bonus, you’ll get 25 Gingerbread Kitten Pet Medallions in your gift box on Christmas Day.
During this event, when you see a Gingerbread Kitten Pet Medallion floating across your screen, click on it, and it will be added to your collection!
Click on the My Pets paw print button (located on the bottom left side of your screen, near you pet’s portrait or from the Things To Do menu on the Webkinz Classic Mobile App, then click on the Medallions tab to see how many medallions you have collected.
Every time you earn a pet medallion, your collection will be updated:
When you manage to collect 100 Gingerbread Kitten Pet Medallions, an Adopt button will appear beneath the image of the kitten at the bottom of your screen:
When you click the Adopt button, Ms. Birdy will walk you though the adoption process! First, you’ll need to choose a name for your pet, and decide whether it’s a boy or a girl:
Then, you’ll be redirected to the Welcome Room where you can meet your new pet:
Once you complete a simple Pet Request with the Gingerbread Kitten, you’ll receive its gift box with their unique adoption gifts: A Potted Gingerbread Biscuit Tree and a Merry Milkshake:
Drag the Potted Gingerbread Biscuit Tree into your pets room and watch it grow over the next few days. When it’s ready, you can click on it to harvest a delicious Gingerbread Biscuit!
Did you manage to adopt a Snowy Retriever Puppy last December? Snowy Retriever Puupy Pet Medallions will no longer be available, but the puppy will remain in your Medallion pet collection, and you can still use AnyPet Medallions to adopt one!

I got my gingerbread cat “Hansel”, but did not get a new room. In the past, all pets redeemed with tokens came with a room. Did something glitch, or does this pet not come with a room?

I found out about this late, spent 2 weeks trying to get back in my account after it kicked me out, and now I’ll be way short :< I'll have 69 on the 31st including the 25 bonus tomorrow. so sad I won't be able to get this girl, I barely have any pets :<
They don’t show up very often and the “kinztime” is 3 hours ahead of my time so I always miss it. I’m going to be 1 day short now. That’s not fair….I worked so hard on this.

if you log on on Christmas day and open the Christmas gift box they will give you 25 medallions to help you get closer so that might help!

Hello, sorry this is late, but yes, they’re doing it again this year. They do it again every year I think (thank you, Webkinz!) but I’m not exactly sure. You can see all the events that Webkinz is having on the monthly calendars that they post. That’s good to hear though! Glad to be of help :)
