I’m glad to see Webkinz are available in stores again and that the G3 plush launch seems to be going well, so far! All the new plushies are so adorable! :) However… I’m kind of disappointed that they’re not going to be available for purchase online. The nearest store is about an hour away from me, but I won’t even get a chance to go there till next weekend and am so afraid they’re going to be totally sold by that time, based on what I’m seeing online about stores only getting a few dozen pets and people snapping them all up ASAP and hardly leaving any for other people :( I’d feel so bad if I missed out on the opportunity to get one of these new plushes, especially as player of 18 years who collected most of the original Webkinz plushes and has all but one of the Next plush that were available on the estore. I love the idea of Webkinz being available in stores again, don’t get me wrong! But the fact that these stores are so spread out and are carrying such a limited number of plushes is causing some serious FOMO in players like me who really want the new ‘kinz but just don’t have the time to drive hours away from home for a *chance* at getting them. (As it is, I’m already really jealous of my friends who were lucky enough to have a store near them and buy several if not all of the plushes.) So many players are either going to feel totally left out (it’s not our fault if there are no stores in our area) or be forced to buy the new pets from eBay, and resellers are already charging $60-$100 a plush on there. I really want to support this G3 release, and I have my fingers crossed that somehow I can still find a leftover plush or two next week by the time I’m able to go to the store, but I really hope you guys will consider selling them on the estore at some point, too, even if it’s just in limited quantities like the last-released G1 plushes. At the very least, I hope these current plushes will be restocked and/or added to more stores as time goes on. Thanks for the consideration <3

I’m so scared by the time I’m able to go they’ll be sold out of webkinz. :( the nearest stores for me are like 4 hours away :skull-emoji: I definitely feel left out since everyone else is able to get as many as they want but I dont have any stores near me and i feel stores will sell out so fast and idk if they’re restocking. :( the ebay situation is nuts man. I can’t believe stores have let scalpers buy so many pets and then they resell them for $$$ on ebay so that people who couldn’t go to a store soon enough only have that option. ://// I really hope they’re restocked/added to more stores too ;-; selling them on the estore would prob also make more money too as the people who wanted webkinz badly but couldn’t get could finally get. IF they release them online they should limit the pets per customer like the deluxe Wednesday stuff. Ik Heart’s store limits up to 2 pets per person which is really nice and helps to limit scalpers
Yeahhh, I understand your frustration, Taffy. Although honestly…I think the store release move is genius! I really think that more people should go out and shop in person when they can and support local businesses, especially because of Covid people only ever buy everything online nowadays which has caused a lot of small shops to close. However, having some online in this case isn’t such a bad idea. Maybe there should be like a limited amount of them online, and a majority should be in stores to encourage more folks to shop local? I also think that more stores should carry them so they are more accessible to everyone. This whole thing seemed to be a big experiment from the looks of it just to see how much would sell. Either way, I hope that in the future there will be more of a selection of stores to buy from and more plush will be produced.
Super excited for Gen 3! Unfortunately the Store Locator isn’t accurate yet! I went to the nearest Hallmark that was indicated on the Store Locator and not only did they not have any in yet, but they hadn’t even heard about them coming in. :( They said they’d had multiple people ask, but otherwise they had never even heard of Webkinz so couldn’t say if or when they would be in stock. Like, didn’t even know if they were coming to the store.
I was able to find the cockapoo! The Bernese mountain dog is pretty much sold out everywhere, and the stores that do sell them in my area are scarce. (NB, Canada). What really disappoints me is that they can only be found in a few gift shops in the big cities, but the closest location to me was a pharmacy 30 minutes away. They’re popping up in lots of those, and they’re pretty spread out. I really, really hope stores get a re-stock of the first batch. I wasn’t able to physically get to the store until 5 days after they announced they had them, and by then, there were very few of the remaining types left. To think that it’s a one-time release in a location where very few places actually sell them is very disappointing, especially considering Ganz is a Canadian country. If this was to test the waters, trust me, the fish are biting! I’d love to have another chance to grab the ones I missed without feeling rushed.

This is insane. The only store within 100 miles of me (in a city!) received 24 webkinz, two of each design, and thankfully limited it to 2 per person. Please return to selling them through ganz estore instead, so at least the people that play webkinz have a chance at obtaining the new plush instead of it ending up on resale sites.

Is there a way to confirm if this shipment of 12 plush are a one time deal and that the next shipment in the new year will be a whole new set? THANKS
I am in upstate NY and was able to find 10 of the 12. I plan to call some stores in Vermont and Massachusetts to see if they have any left. I need the Cockapoo and the Meerkat. I was told there is another “release” in January but not sure if these same pets or new ones. I hope Webkinz goes back to the old days when there was only a few released each month as I may need to get a second job to pay for these. But overall having a lot of fun, excitement and anticipation searching for them.
