Also, they are called Sugar Gliders because they like to eat sweet nectar and sap from eucalyptus, acacia and gum trees. They are very fascinating little animals.

  2. Electric Squirrel says:

Um, okay. . . Tanya and others, just to let you know, you guys are way wrong about the Sugar Glider. The Sugar Glider is a REAL animal. It is a squirrel-like gliding marsupial that lives in tropical climates such as Australia and Papua New Guinea. They glide from tree to tree like flying squirrels; however, they are not rodents, they are marsupials, meaning they have a furry pouch on their bellies to carry their young.

OK, thank you for that information for what is a Sugar Glider. Is it a non real animal? Is it extinct? Why is it called a Sugar Glider? IT SHOULD BE A FLYING SQUIRREL!

  5. Tanya says:

For anyone wondering what a SUGAR GLIDER is then here’s your reply: It’s basicly a bat-mouse mythical thing that glides over the world searching for candy, sugar and anything sweet on it’s path. That’s what I think.

    • IloveSugarGliders says:

Tanya, a Sugar Glider is not a mythical creature, it’s also not a bat-mouse, and it does NOT “glide over the world searching for candy, sugar and anything sweet on it’s path”. It’s actually a marsupial in Australia, but it does love sweet foods, like manna. (Manna is sweet dried sap that Sugar Gliders and other animals eat.) And I know they’re not mythical, because I’ve held one before.

  6. Tanya says:

Cool! When the sugar glider flies, it looks like a smilodon leaping. Do you know what a Smilodon is? It used to be one of the greatest sabre- toothed cats to walk the earth during the time of prehistoric mammals. Experts say that smilodon may of had fur like a clouded leopard. I did ALOT of information check on them and I have a DVD telling you about prehistoric annimals as well. Did you know that if the lead male had a broken tooth, all the females in his pack would give birth to broken toothed smilodon too? I’m just suggesting a webkinz here, ok, the sugar glider is so COOL!

  7. Tanya says:

I know that webkinz is running a little SLOW but I am quite worried… I got 15$ for christmas and I don’t know if I wan’t to buy another webkinz because of the server problems and all that, maybe if they stop, I WILL SURELY buy another pet.

I know it is not YOUR fault.

    Thank You
