Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof here with a special report! Based on the reaction to our first set of concept drawings, I can tell that there are many players who are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Hotel theme (coming to the W-Shop on July 21st).
I’m back today to give you an exclusive look at 4 more concept drawings! If you missed the last post CLICK HERE to see the first set of drawings and don’t forget to leave your feedback and name suggestions for each item in the comments section below.
Here’s a look at the elevator that will be included in this theme. Clicking on it will open your room map which you can use to jump to your favorite hotel room:
This elegant side table has a lamp on it that can be turned “on” and “off”. I think this would look great in a hotel room or front lobby:
Players should be able to use this rug in a variety of different rooms as well. When you rotate the rug, the pattern changes, so you can really create a unique look for your hotel:
The final item we’ll be looking at today is the hotel clothing rack. This item will actually work like a closet and players will be able to store clothes here:

Awesome! I love the elevator, how cool that it will open our house maps & take us to any room we want! It’s actually a working elevator! I would call it the Elegant Elevator because, well, look at it! It’s gorgeous! Love that the rug changes when you rotate it, and I guess the luggage cart does too, from the 4 illustrations. That is brilliant, so I’d call it the Smart Luggage Cart. How about Stylish Side Table. Awesome work, Dave & Mike! 4 more pieces of the theme to go, I can’t wait to see them.
1Emerald1~ I love your item name suggestions! And designers, your creativity is pure awesomeness!!!!! I was hoping for an elevator, but THIS… whoa… this idea of accessing the room map surpasses anything I dreamed up. Keep the awesome ideas coming – you are apparently on a roll!

YES! A luggage cart :) The elevator looks great too! I would have rather had it be a silver color, but the gold does match the theme better. But still.. ELEVATOR!!! Name suggestions: Elevator; Elegant Elevator, Side Table; Luxurious Lamp Side Table, Rug: Fancy Hotel Carpet, and Cart: Lovely Luggage Cart :D
An item that I have been hoping for for a long time is an exit sign. You know the lit up exit sign over a door way that guides you to safety in the case of an emergency! This has been missing for far too long and this theme (as well as most others) would be perfect for it! As I have been creating my barn for the contest , I wished that I had them. In any multi use room there should be an emergency exit sign. Please I beg of you, create an emergency exit sign and release it with this theme!!
I’d like that too, but as it works now, we can’t place anything on the wall above a door. Perhaps a decorative door with the exit sign already included?
The elevator is really cool, especially since it brings up the map! I hope they make more items like this!
