Good day, readers. I recently approached these two young designers in Kinzville about redecorating my kitchen. While my old kitchen was lovely, I felt that it just wasn’t really functional for me. I really needed more workspace for cooking and baking and I didn’t need quite such a large table. I already have a beautiful dining room for larger gatherings and in the kitchen I could do with a smaller table for more casual family gathering. I also decided that, much as I love the teacup motif, I would make a generous donation of my Teacup Fountain and Treadmill to the Teacup Exhibit at the St Bernard Gallery of Fine Arts. It seems so unfair that I should be the only one to get to enjoy these fine pieces.
So I hired the young elephants to redecorate for me. I explained that I needed a large work area in the kitchen, and that keeping my sewing table was a must. I also needed a table big enough to seat my close family but not one that takes up the whole room! I also thought a reading nook might be nice.
But the one thing I specified to those designers was that I am not some young pup who wants a totally modern kitchen with everything in light colors and stainless steel. I know their reputation is for sleek, cutting-edge design but I am a genteel, dignified St. Bernard with traditional tastes and I would like a traditional kitchen. I don’t mind the odd hint of whimsy, but if I walk in and find white leather everywhere I will NOT be amused.
And I must say, those designers listened to what I wanted and they certainly delivered. I think they gave my kitchen an updated look, but they managed to maintain my classic style. I just love the new Dignified Drape Windows. The red velvet curtains add such elegance. Two comfortable chairs alongside the Regal Rug in front of the Fashionable Gas Fireplace make the perfect spot for me to curl up with a good book at the end of the day, and the King’s Feast Table is just what I was looking for. But my favorite part of the kitchen by far is the large island where I will be able to cook to my heart’s content, while my guests can perch close by as I work. The Chef Gazpacho Mega-stove picks up the deep red of the cupboards and walls and will let me experiment with all kinds of delicious recipes. And the High End fridge offers plenty of storage for all my creations.
I think these youngsters found just the right balance between tradition and function, don’t you?
The second one is soo better!
Those elephants did an awsome job!

yah no, i think i like the old 1 it looks kinda cute i really like it
Although Meriwether likes this, it’s not my style. I think it’s too crowded. I prefer a big room with lots of storage space, not all the flashy stuff everywhere.
They did a great job!
I want that kitchen for real. I would never leave it.
Sorry, I didn’t get to finish the last comment, because I pressed enter to soon. I still love the room!
