Introducing the Great Cake Cook-Off!
Head to Kinzville to join in our newest multiplayer game and work together to bake the biggest cake you’ve ever seen!
Click on the table to join. When the entry period is over, the game begins! Search Kinzville and collect ingredients for the cake: Eggs, Butter, and Flour!
But watch out — everyone playing in your game sees the same ingredients, so you’ll have to be quick and get to them first. You can collect up to 9 ingredients at a time, then you must race back to drop them off. Earn points for each required ingredient.
Once you’ve collected enough ingredients as a group within the time limit, watch as the fantastic cake is baked! All participants earn KinzCash, and the top three get special prizes. 1st place gets a random mixer, 2nd place gets a Baker’s Jacket, and 3rd place gets extra KinzCash.
In addition to prizes, earn points for the monthly leaderboard with each cake successfully baked!
The player with the top score at the end of the month will receive an extra special prize — a Great Cake Cookoff Trophy!

What great prizes and a seemingly fun event and a schedule too? Wonderful! Unfortunately, despite all of these wonderful and creative additions, I think I’ll be passing this by. Had it been cooperative, it would’ve been a different story, but I’m just completely bored by all of these competitive games. I play and a lose which can be mildly frustrating, but even when I win I still lose because other players tried and didn’t get a cool prize. Why can’t we just work together? Humans are silly. That said, good luck to all and I hope that many players enjoy this new event.
It’s both cooperative and competitive. If you don’t bake the cake in time, you don’t win any prizes.
I understand and that is nice, but it isn’t quite the same as all working together and all getting to win the same cool prizes. Just something to consider going forward. It sure does look like a fun game!
I wish events like this would stick to the every other hour schedule like Fantastic Flower! I’m in europe, so the time schedule posted in the article doesn’t help me at all as those will not be the times where I am and it doesn’t give a timezone so I can’t even convert the time to that in my timezone. Please consider players in other countries when coming up with time based events such as this!
All times are KinzTime, which is equivalent to Eastern Time.
Eastern US/Canadian time that is…Normally UK is 5 hours ahead…so 9amEST/EDT would be 2pmUK/GMT.

Have went out per hourly posted schedule and not one time have I seen any ingredients pop up. I get that everyone goes for the same thing, but this is totally frustrating when you don’t have any pop up to try to get. Glad it’s temporary!!!
Make sure you join the event. You may have to search all over Kinzville, not just by the giant mixer.
Is this a permanent feature, or just for the month of August?
Also, does it replace Fantastic Snowman?

This is a fun game but I would like it more if we can see who is in our groups and then it will be great because Idk who is in my group and I have one question How many groups are in The Great Cake Cook Off? Please let me know as soon as you get this
The number of groups depends on the number of people playing. It isn’t a set amount.
Those mixers are lovely. I played once so far and it is a little busy since it is the first day. I will try again later tonight because I really want to win! On another note, where have all the flowers gone? I have been waiting like usual and after 10 min. I just leave and then go back…still no flowers Sally. Please give us some roses and maybe a wisteria on a trellis? Love the new update bits of flash you guys have added in the arcade with the mood lighting and the new colors and buttons in the seasons dashboard.

Oy. Hope it’s not like the Fantastic Flower event, which was quite unwieldy when trying to re-fill your water pack!

KinzTime is equivalent to Eastern
In my case it’s an hour ahead if me as I’m Central. So, 3 Kinztime is 2 here.
