Click on the ball to collect it. Once you collect 20 balls, you can trade them in for a randomly selected toy.
Click the Toy Chase icon at the side of the screen to trade in your toy balls.
Select “use 20” to randomly generate a toy prize.
You can collect up to 50 toy balls a day. That’s a lot of toys! How many can you collect?

fix the frequency of ball drops or make the toy selection not random. I think fixing one or the other would keep the gameplay better balanced.
So disappointed that I just got 3 toy trains in a row and I have so many of them from last year. I feel like I just wasted a lot of time and we can’t even share them with other players. Please let us choose our own prizes – the random awards are not fun.
This was a nifty idea but ostensibly, not a feasible one. I’d suggest going back to the drawing board for a better and more workable idea. And, I might, none of the drop and chases work any better, I’m very sorry to say.
I wish balls would fall more frequently — at least when I first land in the Park! Then I would have hope that more might fall :)
There have been times when I think that I see balls dropping but I cannot find them and think they may be hiding behind things. If there are too many balls dropped do they stop dropping? Yesterday I got 49 balls (three sessions) but waited 45 minutes for the final ball to drop and never saw it. Maybe Webkinz could program that uncollected balls expire after 5 minutes so that new ones could drop? I think a lot of the problem is the limit on active balls on any one account but that the limit includes the balls that are hidden. There should be a limit otherwise people would leave there account on and just wait for all 50 to drop before collecting them but it would be nice to be able to clear the cache without having to log out.
I like your expiration idea. So far, after balls have dropped and while I am waiting for another batch, I run my cursor over the edges of nearby buildings and benches. If my cursor lights up green in a place it “shouldn’t,” (not an entrance or an actual seat, etc.) then I click the cursor and collect another hidden ball. It took me awhile to figure out this trick, but it does seem to work out for me.
I waited almost 2 hours yesterday to get the 20 balls required to get one toy. When I cashed them in I got a repeat toy of the one toy I got the previous day. They are both repeats of a toy I got last year. Waste of time!
It should be falling much faster than that. If you haven’t seen anything after 15 minutes, log out and back in.
One would think, but from all the posts here there is clearly a problem and a lot of disappointed customers. Maybe someone could try to fix the issue and make this event more enjoyable?

3 balls so far, not enough for anything. In the meantime, while that is (hopefully) getting fixed (it better be), as a lesser gripe I have to say is I’ve never been a fan of the exclusive items that are also random. With all these “random selection collections,” I have never got more than 6 or 7 of the 9 items but I get at least 2 or 3 copies of several of them. Is there any reason not to allow players to choose themselves? It’s not like you can buy specific items elsewhere, nor can I see any harm if someone decides they want to collect 10 of the same doll.
Like everyone else, the balls are not falling for me either. I usually catch around 10 within the first 5 minutes of being in kinzville, but that’s it. I just stood/ran around kinzville for 15 minutes with no luck. It looks like the other pets are running around collecting balls, but I’m not seeing any. This is so frustrating.
I am having the same problem. Most of the time, I don’t get any when I first log on, then I do my round and log off and back on again, then they are falling, and then nothing happens any more.
So far in 3 days, I only found 20 balls the first day, 14 the second, and 7 the third. So I’ve only been able to redeem 2 prizes in 3 days, so I have no chance of even getting all 9 this season :( Is anyone going to look into this? Obviously I’m not the only one having problems! Not all of us have several hours to sit around staring at the screen waiting for something that won’t happen, very disappointing.
this is very true. And I wish we would be able to pick the prizes instead of getting the 100th toy truck.
