Nuts and Bolts have finally revealed what they’ve been working on: The WShop is getting redesigned! You heard it here first KinzFolks! Your favorite place to shop in Webkinz World has gotten a makeover! Here are Nuts and Bolts with more details:
NUTS: “Tah dah! It’s true… we have totally redesigned the WShop and it looks amazing!”
BOLTS: “What’s more amazing is that you have managed to keep this a secret until now…”
NUTS: “We’ve been repainting walls, reorganizing inventory…”
BOLTS: “I think they get it Nuts…”
NUTS: “Sorry, I’m just so excited!”
BOLTS: “Shoppers will really like the new WShop. All the main categories will be listed along the left side of the shop, with subsections listed at the top.”
NUTS: “Ohhhhhhhhhh!”
BOLTS: “More subsections mean that you can find what you are looking for faster!”
NUTS: “Ahhhhhhhhhh!”
BOLTS: “Nuts…?”
NUTS: “Sorry.”
BOLTS: “For example, the “Decorations” category of the WShop will have LOTS of subsections, including “Pedestals”, “Plants”, “Clocks”, “Windows” and more!”
NUTS: “Speaking of plants, I bought you some Sunflowers to celebrate!”
BOLTS: NUTS!… I’m ALLERGIC to Sunflowers!!!!… ah…ahhhhh….AHHHHH – CHOO!”
NUTS: “Bless you?”
BOLTS: “grrrrrrrrrr…”
New categories have been added to the new and improved WShop including a section where you can adopt pets! You’ll also be able to shop for eStore items! To celebrate, EVERYONE will be given 2000 FREE eStore Points to spend when you log in on February 19th.
We will also be retiring the Café room theme and Sports room theme to Deluxe Members on February 19th with the release of the new WShop. Not a Deluxe Member? There’s still time to collect these themes before they’re no longer available:

Really?! I think the new WShop look OUTSTANDING Ganz! Great job on this one. With past disappointments such as the new map and the way you go into your room, this is awesome! I wonder what pets there will be to buy! And more rooms themes– oh my gosh, that’d be AWESOME! I have 12 pets and I run out of themes for their bedrooms… And I hate the Wizard and like bamboo or something theme that’s supposed to look like Chinese? I don’t know, but those two have never been a room in my house. I can’t wait– already saving up money! :D
I’m with you on the wizard theme. they should do like a cafeteria theme since they got rid of the classroom. (which I LOVED!!!!!!! :) )
Sometimes things are confusing at first, then you get used to it and it looks to me like it will be better. The W Shop has grown over the years and some categories are just too big. I think we will like it.
I miss the old WShop! :’-( It was way more convenient!!! Not to mention taking the Mazin’ Hamsters out of the (what used to be Webkinz eStore) Wshop!! :-| They didn’t make any new themes yet just retiring themes and adding few items to seasonal themes. Now even the Wshop is modern. :-(
Thanks Nuts and Bolts for the info – I really hope you included an easier way to sell items such as the fruits and vegetables from our gardens. It gets really old having to drag one item at a time with a maximum of nine for each sale. Look forward to seeing the changes.
I,too, would really like to be able to sell the veggies and move items from account to account by bulk.
You should be able to click sell items,click all the items in your dock you want to sell,click sell items,that would be much easier!
The WShop has needed a renovation for a LONG time and this is a really nice one!!!

It does get annoying sometimes. But they need other ways to make more money. All social world games have ways to upgrade and they always over advertise. :I
Well,I am deluxe,so I get it all! And I get Vacation Island,and Fancy Pictures and Speech Bubbles,Postcards,fancy wrapping paper,and all retired themes! I get all the fun!

I guess they combined the Wshop with the e-Store, and isn’t this is like the fifth/sixth room theme to go deluxe, is their going to be any left for non-deluxe members, and can you buy pets with KinzCash?

Yes!! New themes would be nice (like the colors of the new Scribble pup)!! :) I also think the next update should be the stuff in our docks! If they divided everything up in sections like the new Wshop, it would make it so much easier to find stuff!! :)

yes I agree, our docks need an update. I suggested it in the forum too. it would be so helpful to get our stuff organized and find stuff faster and speed up the dock loading, if it doesnt have to pull up everything at once, just a sub section at a time. just like this new Wshop, awesome!
I wish sooooo badly that they would fix our docks!!! I agree! They need to be easier to navigate through so we can better find our things. I have too many in my dock and its a pain to store everything in our rooms. lol
I suggest typing in the name of the item and it finds it for you. I’m always looking for my rares!

That’s a great idea! It would be much easier to trade if our docks were divided into sections like “rare”, “exclusive”, “pet specific”, “prizes”, and “ordinary” in addition to the categories we already have. Or maybe Ganz is already doing that; you never can tell with these guys! If you aren’t already working on it, please consider it, Ganz! You rule! : ) !
I think that if you click on ordinary,it should then have the normal list.Also,at the bottom of the items,it should say tradable!or,Not tradable!You know?

I miss the classroom theme because I use the carpet in most of my rooms, and I will miss the sports theme too. :(
Yeah,the carpeting could have been SO useful in many rooms,including these ones that I want it for:The Spa,The Classroom[clearly],the relaxation room,the clothing shop,the singing room,and much more! I am deluxe,though, and I will always be able to have the Sports theme and Cafe theme.I honestly like it when they retire things to deluxe,like Vacation Island. :lol: I get all of the fun LOL :lol:

The wShop is the worst part of Webkinz World! I am so glad they are re-organizing it. It will be much more professional and mall-like. I will now love the wShop! I cannot believe those that like it the old way! Ugh! Commoners! ~Melody
