Now there’s a NEW way to keep track of items in your Dock!
If you keep lots of items in your Dock, even with the sorting tabs it can be difficult to find new items that you’ve just bought or won. To help with this, we’ve added a NEW tab that will keep track of any items that have arrived in your Dock while playing. So if you win something, buy something, or just return something to your Dock, you’ll see it appear in your NEW tab.
If you already have multiples of that item in your Dock elsewhere, you’ll see a quantity attached to the item, showing you the total number that you have in your Dock.
Once you log out, the NEW tab will be cleared until your next play session, but you’ll still be able to find your items under their regular Dock tabs.
PLEASE NOTE: We are currently working on getting the multiples of items already in your Dock to always appear in the NEW tab when selling back to the WShop. Also, we will be fixing the issue that sees some items moved from the NEW tab when you travel to and from the room.

This gets annoying if I’m buying multiples of something, or harvesting food, but other than that it makes everything so much easier! I really wish this was on Mobile, though.

Wow! Webkinz is really getting new. But, I just can’t keep up with webkinz and how much it is changing. Also I have very sad news….I am unable to play webkinz cause of Java or something…I also am going to spend less time on webkinz newz…..BUT, I HAVE A WAY TO STILL KEEP CARE OF MY PETS! xmy9tail, you may just need to update Java, on your computer; they came out with a new one several weeks ago. Simply go to Java.com and follow the prompts. The update is free and easy. I usually update each of my browsers individually, but if you update Firefox, it’s supposed to update all. Hope this helps.

Also, when will the Deluxe feature that allows you to change the color of your dock and the pet’s background portrait? I really liked that and hope it comes back.
I don’t exactly miss it with my regular pet profile, but I REALLY miss it when I’m in the Trading Room. The backgrounds always let me know if I was trading with a Deluxe member.

I remember logging in and seeing the new tab! This will really help out with trading. What would be really neat now, If the “My Page” and the letters could be updated, I really wanna type what I want in the Kinzpost letters, and update My Page a bit more, it is a bit glitchy. Or maybe a tab added where you can “search” for your items in your dock!
I like this new tab, because I think it’s great for practicality. Also, Ganz, here’s a suggestion: Maybe you should divide the clothing section into mini sections, so that it doesn’t take forever for us to get to our shoes, which are at the end currently. If we could select “Clothing”, and then select mini sections in “Clothing”, such as “Hats”, “Tops”, “Bottoms” etc. Thanks!
ArtMagician, that is an awesome idea! I really hope they do that. I have so many clothes.. it’s very difficult to find what I want sometimes. Especially when my pet asks to put on shoes… Ugh.

I agree! I’m planning on completely redecorating my house, considering I’ve had my same (sorta ugly) rooms since I was in kindergarten, I really need to update it, and this will be really helpful!
I think the idea of the new tab is very nice because I hate having to scroll through all my item, as before I reach my new items I am often logged off- but again, seeing as I’m always logged off, I can not utilize this new tab because if I get anything new, I am immediately logged off and the tab is refreshed.

Hey 202ganz I’m so sorry i wasn’t in the trading room that day i feels bad for that.
I really like the idea of the “new” tab! It will definately help when I’m trying to decorate my rooms, especially because I’ve got so many items! I haven’t been able to try it yet because I haven’t had much time on webkinz, but my one critic or suggestion is to make the items in the “new” tab last a whole day, rather than disappearing each time you log out. My reasoning for this is because sometimes you have to log off briefly to do something and might want to be able to go back on and resume your decoratingn without having to go through your dock again. Or, in my case, you might constantly get logged out before you have the chance to use the “new” tab, so in the end you’ll have to go back searching your dock for items that were once in “new” that you weren’t able to access because it logged you out. Most of the time I just end up decorating on mobile because at least I can access my dock (although very slowly) without it logging me out. If I didn’t have the logging our problem, having the items in the “new” tab last until you logged off wouldn’t be bad. But I have to log in so many times, so by then it doesn’t even matter if the “new” tab is there. Regardless of that, I think it’s a great feature! Thanks, Ganz! (:
I would also like to be able to put items in the NEW tab from my dock without having to bring up the W-Shop to put them in the ‘Resale Counter’, and then remove the item from it. I would also like to be able to remove items from the NEW tab without having to logout.
ooo never thought about doing this saves having to look for ever when you want to do a room add it to the sale tab then remove. I hate looking through hundreds of things over and over.
I think that if they made it last a whole day, or even a few hours, it would be nice. I don’t get on webkinz as much anymore (although super in WKN), I used to be in everyday now I’m on every other day or less.
