We are aware of an issue where players are unable to log on to Webkinz Classic using the desktop app, and are receiving the following message:
An unauthorized attempt to intercept Webkinz communications was detected. To protect your account, your session was terminated. Please try again later.

Our technical team has identified the root cause of the issue and are actively working on a fix. We will have the game back up and running for everyone to enjoy soon.
Please note that the mobile app version of Webkinz Classic, available for FREE from the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, is still working and can be played with limited features.
We will let you know once the Webkinz Classic desktop is up an running again.
UPDATE: Webkinz Classic is back up for the desktop application. Please close and restart the application on your PCs.

thank you was so worried, I’m not computer smart. I asked other players on next that play both games they had the same thing so I was ok its not just me. they said you can read it on face book and twitter but I cant have those. so thank you webkinz. missed you friends for a day or two. I have been sick, bad ear infection, and miss playing, wonder what was worse, being sick, or the panic I had, when I thought something happened to webkinz. thank you webkinz, you are really missed and I hope that stores in our area get back to selling webkinz, it should be mandatory in all our stores, so if you own a store chain or anyway to talk with one, we want webkinz on all the stores shelves. billboards. commercials,
I’ve had a very busy day, but I have been able to get back in WW on at least one of my accounts. I have not checked them all. Hopefully I will be able to do that tomorrow! Thank you all so very much for finding and fixing this problem. Thank you so much for explaining what it happening! :-)
i have tried re downloading webkinz several times after uninstalling it. it’s not working please hurry up and fix it. thank you
