Two New Rare Limited Edition Plush in Webkinz Next!

Just as the Rainbow Unicorn sells out, two more very special pets have emerged from the wild!

Meet the Pinktastic Lion and the Violet Velvet Elephant—our newest rare, limited edition plush pets, available exclusively through sparking in Webkinz Next.

Any time you create a baby in Webkinz Next, there is a chance that you will unlock one of these special pets. And all of them come with the chance to purchase a limited edition plush!

You can improve your odds of sparking a Pinktastic Lion or Violet Velvet Elephant by using sparks from a Pride Lion or Elephant parent. Or use uncommon or rare parents as another way to help your chances.

Remember, when these limited edition pets grow into adults, they do not come with sparks. If you have already purchased one and you spark another, you can choose to create a different baby in its place. The limited edition plush pets are also exclusive to Webkinz Next. They do not include a code for a pet on Webkinz Classic.

These plush are extremely limited in quantity! Head to the adoption center for your chance to add one of these rare babies to your Webkinz family.

also I have a question / suggestion! could it be possible in the future to have the redemption pets get their gift boxes as kids? I have a fabulous cow baby that I want to have permanently as a kid (because she doesn’t get sparks anyway) but I also want her PSI.

Do your odds improve by sparking lion+lion, elephant+elephant, or lion+elephant, or are the odds the same if you spark lion+another pet or elephant+another pet? In the latter case, it makes sense to use another pet to spark with so you can save your sparks!

Team :) was just wondering at the wording on this line “If you spark one, you can always choose to create a different baby in its place.” Does it mean THAT WE MUST HAVE ONE before we can choose that option??? OR can we now reject the redemption pet even if we don’t have one???

    • Sally Webkinz says:

No, you can’t reject the first time you spark, only the subsequent time.

      • lemony says:

thanks sally :) You are awesome!!

That’s a shame! I was hoping the wording meant i’d be able to reject it even if it was my first one. My goal in Next is to get as many generations as possible, and I’m in Europe so couldn’t order the plush, so i’d be really disappointed to spark a limited edition baby that has no sparks. If possible, could the developers be asked to consider implementing the option to get a random pet for first-time limited edition sparkings too? So that those of us that don’t want them can get babies with sparks instead?

very cute! off topic, but my pets can’t sleep in the over the rainbow bed, and it’s not just me, my friend had the same issue. when I click on it, the pet won’t hop on and sleep :(

Yo! That lion is so cute, but sadly I don’t buy the redemption plush since $29.99 for them is a bit too much, in my opinion, especially since I can purchase a plush with 2 tags for the online games for that same price. If they maybe had Classic counterparts as well, like if they came with a Classic code, I’d consider buying the plush! I currently have the redemption Retriever, Cow and Pig, which are very cute but I passed on all 3 of the plush.

    • BoulderPrarieHome says:

I am passing on plush too. If they came with a special code for a rare car or something, I would pay the $29. But to just get a standard PSI except for a different color when an adult is not enough.

      • EgK says:

Same, have a Rainbow Retriever and a Pig, and I didn’t buy the push for either of them. $29 dollars is too much. I mean it’s only a plush and it doesn’t even come with codes. But these new pets are adorable. If I get the lion, I’m calling it Lily, and if I get the elephant, I’m going to name it Violet. I’m planning on sparking two babies soon, but I hope it’s not these two. I like them, but I want two pets that come with sparks. A unicorn and a moonbear. I know you can’t decide, but that’s what I’m hoping for. It’s good to have goals, like Sally said. But I can’t decide if I’m going to spark one today and one tomorrow, or both on Wednesday night. Webkinz players, I need your advice! Also, I sent an email to Webkinz support because I adopted a panda and named it Pandor but then it crashed and now my panda AND my giraffe are called Pandor. My giraffe used to be named Sprinkles. I don’t know if they got the email because there was a bug with my email account. Thanks in advance.

I love that lion! Hopefully I’ll spark it when I buy, or save more diamonds! I have about 5 or 4 rare unicorns and 1 rare golden retiever and 3 uncommon unicorns. Hopefully I can spark that lion with them! Or the elephant would be cool too. (i want the lion more!)

  9. Funny283 says:

Hey, Happy Huskyworth! Thanks for telling me! They are sooo cool!

  10. HappyHuskyWorth1 says:

Whoah!!!!! Love both plushes! They are SOOO cool and colorful! I still don’t think it’s fair that they don’t come with sparks. Is there anything you can do to change that Sally?
