Hello again Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof here with a special report! From Monday July 20 (10am) – Wednesday July 22 (noon) you’ll be able to vote for a new Halloween theme to be released in the W-Shop in October!
You’ll have 3 themes to choose from (see concept drawings below). Look over each concept drawing carefully because once the winning theme has been decided, the concept drawing will be used as inspiration for the rest of the items that will be included in the theme.
Here’s the concept drawing for the Haunted Hotel theme. The furniture in this theme would include items that you’d find in a spooky hotel lobby and ghostly hotel room including a front desk, creepy key rack and this haunted hotel lobby chair:
Next is the Freaky Forest theme. This theme would include items that you would see in a dark haunted forest including creepy looking trees, a gate, statue and this terrifying bench:
The third theme you have to choose from is the Trick or Treat? theme. This theme would include furniture that you’d find inside a cozy home that was decorated for Halloween including a candy bowl side table, rug, window and this colorful couch:

I love the Freaky Forest theme! We already have so much inside Halloween stuff that I have three rooms of it. And I’m with Fracktail, I love the Wizard of Oz, so I am really looking forward to the outdoor theme! FREAKY FOREST for me! (I hope this comment goes through, I’ve tried to post once before and even though it was my first post of the day, I got a popup that told me I was “posting too fast and to slow down”…?)
This will be a difficult decision. Maybe I should just vote for them all?
I really like the idea of the Haunted Hotel theme. I’ve always wanted Webkinz to make a hotel theme. But now a Halloween hotel theme is even better!! I also like the Trick or Treat theme. It look so nice and cozy and cute. Either one would be great. We have already had so many scary Halloween themes, so for me the Scary Forest theme is out.

Wow! All these themes seem really cool! But I just love cutesy – so I’d have to say the Trick-or-Treat theme is more my style! Can’t wait to see what everyone votes for!

Yay! Another room theme vote! For the last one, (sweet 16 one) I didn’t really like the idea of a hotel theme, but I think it looks really cool as a haunted hotel!!! I don’t like the forest so much… The trick or treat? Theme is really cute! For some reason it reminds me of monsters inc./university which are 2 of my favorite movies! :) ~*JaneOfAllTrades*~
I too have waiting to see a forest. I would want to set it up like a forest maze winding path up a hill to a ancient Aztec Temple house or some vine covered Gold statue at the top.
