Hello again Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof here with a special report! From Monday July 20 (10am) – Wednesday July 22 (noon) you’ll be able to vote for a new Halloween theme to be released in the W-Shop in October!
You’ll have 3 themes to choose from (see concept drawings below). Look over each concept drawing carefully because once the winning theme has been decided, the concept drawing will be used as inspiration for the rest of the items that will be included in the theme.
Here’s the concept drawing for the Haunted Hotel theme. The furniture in this theme would include items that you’d find in a spooky hotel lobby and ghostly hotel room including a front desk, creepy key rack and this haunted hotel lobby chair:
Next is the Freaky Forest theme. This theme would include items that you would see in a dark haunted forest including creepy looking trees, a gate, statue and this terrifying bench:
The third theme you have to choose from is the Trick or Treat? theme. This theme would include furniture that you’d find inside a cozy home that was decorated for Halloween including a candy bowl side table, rug, window and this colorful couch:

Haunted Forest!
100% for The Haunted Hotel Theme. Absolutely amazing! Reminds me of Tower of Terror from Disney so so for it.Trick or Treat theme is too cutesy and the forest is to snow white nightmare.

They are all great, hard to choose, just ONe request , Can we please have some kind of BAT decorations , been workin on a haunted BATroom(bathroom) I need BATS!!! Please!! Thank you

I don’t know how I’ll decide between haunted hotel and freaky forest! I LOVE the idea of the hotel, and the chair has such a cool look. Especially if the hotel theme that didn’t win the earlier vote is eventually released, it would be really cool to create some kind of “normal-by-day, haunted-by-night” hotel lobby. On the other hand, the forest theme would be so unlike any other theme we’ve had before, and it sounds like a lot of the potential pieces would be great additions to some rooms I already have. Yikes … I’ll really have to mull this one over. The trick-or-treat theme is okay, but I feel like it’s a little tame and lackluster; I feel that I could create a room that fits the same description with items that have already been released, which makes it less appealing for me. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday and Webkinz has a history of doing it REALLY well, so I’m excited to see what this year will bring, and I hope we’ll get a theme with some unique new items.
