Hello again Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof here with a special report! From Friday May 8 (starting at 10 am) – Monday May 11 (ending at noon) you’ll be able to vote for a new theme to be released in the W-Shop!
You’ll have 5 themes to choose from (see concept drawings below). Look over each concept drawing carefully because once the winning theme has been decided, the concept drawing will be used as inspiration for the rest of the items that will be included in the theme.
The first theme you have to choose from is the Hotel theme. This theme would have bright, colorful furniture that would be found in a hotel lobby, restaurant, and hotel room. Here’s a look at the concept drawing for the Hotel Lobby Chair:
Next is the Lemon Drop theme. This would be a bright, light room theme inspired by lemon drops, sugar and sunshine! The Lemon Drop Armchair looks very colorful:
The third theme you have to choose from is the Webkinz Sweet 16 theme. This theme would feature items that would be found in a teenager’s bedroom. Here’s a look at the concept drawing for the Cheeseburger Bean Bag Chair:
Next is the Sweets & Treats theme. This theme would feature candy inspired patterns and textures. Here’s a look at the Sweet Stripes Dining Chair:
The fifth and final theme you have to choose from is the Clothing Store theme. This theme would include everything you’d need to build a clothing store in your pet’s room including the Changing Room Chair:

The hotel theme would be fun. You could make part of your house just hotel. I also like the sound of sweet 16 but why would it be “only food”? what does food have to do with sweet 16.
I’m definitely voting for the hotel theme. It looks like it’ll be colorful and fun without sacrificing its elegance and grandiose-like feel. Lemon drop theme looks like it could end up a remake of the existing fruit theme, but it does look like it’d be a fresher and more artistic upgrade. Sweet 16 theme just seems like it might clash with other furniture, which would really be a shame because that burger seat is adorable. Sweets & Treats theme looks like it might be a mixture of candyland and coffee shop, but there already was a candy theme so I’m not too keen on voting for this one. Clothing Store theme isn’t that nice to me; it looks a bit… “eh”- can’t quite place my finger on it, but it has the potential to produce some very nice dressers and comfy seats. This is my second choice, but I feel like the only items I’ll like from it are the dressers and seats (if Webkinz makes them).
WHY DOESN’T EVERYONE VOTE FOR SWEET SIXTEEN?! It is the best theme out there!

Look at the candy (⌒‿⌒✿), I VOTE FOR CANDY (sweets and treats)!!!!! (⌒ u ⌒) but I love the lemon drop room because it looks really vibrant. (◕‿◕✿).
