Hey guys, it’s Michael Webkinz and I’m here with a special announcement from Webkinz World Headquarters: we need your help to decide on a NEW Christmas room theme to be released in the W-Shop (for KinzCash) during the holidays!
We’ve come up with 3 ideas for you to choose from and made a concept drawing for each. Keep the concept drawings in mind when you vote because the drawing will be used as inspiration for the rest of the items that will be included in the theme.
You can vote for your favorite room theme from September 12th – 14th right here on Webkinz Newz. Once we announce the winner, keep checking back often. We’ll be showing off concept drawings as the theme is being created allowing YOU to leave feedback and offer ideas as to what we should name each item:
A theme that looks like it has been made out of Gingerbread. Each piece is decorated with icing and candies:
The patterns on this theme resemble candy cane stripes. This theme is not “made” out of candy but it does feature Candy Cane stripes and patterns on the fabric of the furniture:
A cozy, furniture theme that looks like it has been decorated for Christmas. Should use red, white and green colors & patterns:
What theme do you want to win? Do you have ideas for furniture for these themes? Please leave your comments below and remember, voting starts on September 12th!
HOME FOR THE HOLIDAY
I really love the gingerbread house theme the best.
the candy cane theme is cutest
i like the home for holidays theme!!
I like the Candy Lane but also the Gingerbread theme. I am sure there are a few items that can crossover and get the best of both Like a gingerbread sofa or rug or items on the table . YEP TABLE FOODS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME !!
Love the gingerbread! Wish the candy cane one was also made of candy canes, or even a theme that looked like holiday foods in general from all over the world.
I like the “Candy Cane Lane Theme” and the “Home For the Holidays” theme. But I think I like the “Home For the Holidays” one better because it looks like a house IT’S SO COOL
Hi Ganz! Webkinz people like Michael and Gennelle please answer. I know this is completely unrelated but please help me out. I was recently on Webkinz Newz, scrolling through the Newz Blog, when I learned about the latest Peek-A-Newz challenge {the back to school one}. I was so excited to enter, and went to the campaign page right away. However, after a quick review of the rules for this contest, I read something that confused me. In the beginning of the rules, it stated (not in these exact words) that the challenge was open to residents of the US and Canada, EXCLUDING the states of New York and Florida. Does this mean that people who live in New York and Florida can’t participate in the contest? If so, is there any other way that such people could get the amazing prizes being given out? Thanks SO much for reading this!!!
Unfortunately, due to specific state legal requirements, participants from New York and Florida are unable to enter and win these contests.
WAIT!!! Does that mean that I, who live in New York (the country) cannot participate?!?!?!? But, but, but, I’ve done it before!!!! I’M SO CONFUSED NOW!!!!!!! :( Is that why the acorn thing won’t send me any acorns even if I haven’t even asked any friends yet? I live in (city name-don’t want to say exact), NY cannot do it!?!??? I’M SAD NOW AND EXTREMELY CONFUSED!!! I’VE NEVER MOVED IN MY LIFE, I HAVE DONE THESE BEFORE, DOES THAT MEAN THAT NOW I CAN’T????? I’m so confused now. Please answer Gennelle!
I believe the system will let you enter but based on where you’re from, it won’t let you win. I’m very sorry! Contests have complicated legal requirements that vary from state to state. I’m not sure what’s going on with your Acorns though, you should be getting those because they’re not part of a contest, they’re part of an event.
Wait, so I will never win any contests I enter because I live in Latham NY?!?!? but that’s part of the United States!
Such great concept art! I will vote for the Candy Cane theme! It looks so beautiful and that fireplace is so exquisitely decorated! Thanks Ganz for a new Christmas theme to look forward to!
