oh tails. I spelled one of my pets name all lowercase. :(

  2. otisbulldogmiddleton says:

Hey guys, now there’s no shame in naming one Webkinz after another or having two pets called the same name or even a few typos in the name, having typos in a name can even make the name sound cool.

  3. 4CheeseTortellini says:

The Webkinz African Chimpanzee plush is adorable – Definitely my favourite out of the three released this month! Thanks so much for sharing :)

  4. 90skidzrule says:

It kinda reminds me of the original monkey that was retired years ago. The only difference is that it doesn’t have the old school fuzzy fur Ganz used to put on almost every Webkinz back then

  5. monkeyfun15 says:

Yay, another primate! I love it, it is so cute! :D

  6. xmy9tailxkinz says:

I actually like How in Amazing world you can change names…. I spelled Sensei wrong I spelled it Sensi *Bangs Head* WHY!!!!! You were 9 give it a rest…I was going on ten… I should’ve Known….

    • ChristianCowgirl123 says:

      EEEKS! :D

    • ChristianCowgirl123 says:

AWWW, tails. I’m sure you can rename it. :0

    • FennecFox says:

Aw, that’s okay, Tails! It’s not as bad as what my friend did with her mazin’ hamster! She was gonna name him ‘Honey Comb’, but put in ‘Honey Conb’! And now her mazin hamster is NAMED ‘Honey Conb’! LOL I didn’t want to make her feel bad so id didn’t say anything…. :p

      • xmy9tailxkinz says:

Ok guys, Are you ready for a funny story!? So my younger sister LOVES playing webkinz . Normally, I name her pets, Irene, Claire, Ect. So, one day…I was taking so long with my homework and she was getting mad…so she decided to name it….herself….NOT a good idea….she misspelled it….Do you wanna know what she named it …so I said we would name it Noa Rose or Noah….she typed in NOSE!!!!!!!! And made it a Girl….NOSE!!!!!!! WHAT IN THE WORLD!!!!!!! I was laughing so hard….She also named her lamb Ellia though I thought that was cute…. That was the same day I named Kakashi sensi….sensei…*Sigh* So, That made her feel better that her older sis can spell things wrong….

        • WingsOfFreedom says:

NOSE?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!! That’s HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!! I couldn’t breath for a second there from laughing so hard!!!!! Ellia is a really cute name though! :-)

      • Fluttershy736 says:

One time when my sister was first starting webkinz, she wanted to name her chickadee Annabeth, but she didn’t know about the free pet, so now she has two named annabeth (lowercase) XP

    • WingsOfFreedom says:

LOL, you’re hilarious, my9tail! (Can I call you Tails?) Those are awesome names, btw! This monkey is kind of cute even though I do not like monkeys in real life… But its food totally creeps me out…

      • snowandlindsey says:

Yeah those fire ants hurt when you get stung by them. When my parents lived in Texas those ants were a problem. My sister and our Dalmatian were stung poor guys. But our Dalmatian died. :-( but that was sixteen years ago before me:-) I’ve never lived in Texas…I’ve just visited I liked it there. Sorry that was really random:-D all I was saying was poor chimp because he has to eat fire ants :-)

        • TaffyKitty12 says:

Yikes! I’m sorry about your Dalmatian. :( Also, I bet that must’ve hurt your sister! I’ve never been stung by fire ants, but I’ve heard about them a lot. It’s part of the reason why I will not sit down in the grass.. You know… In case there’s an ant hill nearby… Or any creepy crawlers (I admit it; I’m terrified by most bugs. Especially after I saw a Tarantula in my backyard! I’m not kidding! It was so creepy! I live in Illinois so don’t ask me why there was a tarantula on my backyard since they’re not native to where I live. Maybe it was someone’s escaped “pet” or something, but I know I saw one! *shudders*) Well, poor chimp…. I wouldn’t like it if I had to eat fire ants… Hopefully they’re just fake or something or else that poor WebKinz will probably have a swollen mouth…

        • _emiemiemiemiemi_ says:

Haha yeah, it’s okay I’m SUPER random sometimes! Yeah, well the psf, I think they are referring it to ants on a log, which is a celery stick with peanut butter and raisins. =]

        • FennecFox says:

Aw, i’m sorry about your dalmatian, snowandlindsey! I have a dog, she just turned two. Oh Eww… FIRE ANTS! My dad got bit from them before. they are pretty gross… :P

        • kittymade10 says:

I used to live in Texas for years but we moved when I was 6 almost 7. Snowandlindsey we have a lot in common, can I friend you.

          • nutmegspicy says:

I’m allergic to fire ants too, kittymade10! My family used to live in Florida and fire ant hills would be EVERYWHERE! When they stung me my toes would balloon up. =( Is that what happened to you?

        • WingsOfFreedom says:

Yeah, during the summer the fire ants can be a big problem! I’m sorry about your Dalmatian. Yeah TaffyKitty, I was wondering that! I hope they’re fake, cuz if not, those ants will burn on the way down!! (Lol, that was a horrible pun, but, they’ll burn, cuz they’re fire ants, get it?? :-P )

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

I’m kind of terrified by most bugs, as well. Especially spiders. EWW, A TARANTULA?! That would scare me so badly!!! I’m slightly allergic to fire ants also, kittymade!! And _emiemiemiemiemi_, you’re completely right! My mind just instantly focused on the fire ants and didn’t completely register what they were actually going for! :-)

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

That’s a funny pun! And yeah, I hope they’re fake or they’re decorative candies or something because I’m those fire ants are probably going to sting him or her in the mouth. Yikes! And yeah, I’m really afraid of spiders!!! They’re one of the bugs that I’m most afraid of, along with centipedes (those things are so creepy!!)!! And that tarantula really scared me! Everyone says it didn’t happen and I’m just making it up because tarantulas don’t live in Illinois, but I’m not joking! This was real! It’s been years ago since the day it happened, but I remembered it very clearly! I went outside for a bit and I was going to go back inside because there were a lot of hers out there and I didn’t want to get stung (I got stung by one when I was little and it really hurt!) and right when I was about to open the door, there was a huge gray tarantulas right next to the door! It was so scary! I couldn’t unlatch the gate cause I was young at that time, so I quickly closed my eyes and ran inside. It’s part of the reason I don’t go in my backyard as much nowadays.

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

Haha, I’m glad you thought it was funny! :-) Oh I know… centipedes are so creepy! Me and my family were taking a walk once and I started totally freaking out cuz there were centipedes on the sidewalk!! Then one time I was walking with my parents while my older sister was in dance class, and it was night time, and i kept seeing these spiders crawl across the sidewalk. I was starting to get a little jumpy, and then i realized that they kept getting bigger and bigger! Then, you’ll never believe this, by the time they were about nickel or quarter sized, I saw a scorpion!!!!!!! I was so freaked out!!! That was a pretty long time ago, I was probably 7or 8! Wow, tarantulas scare me so badly!! It’s so horrible when no one believes you just because it hasn’t ever happened to them or because they think it’s just “impossible!” It can be frustrating. Anyway, yeah, they’re probably candy fire ants…… :P

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

That’s so creepy, WingsOfFreedom! I’d be really freaked out if I saw that! It’s creepy how those spiders grew! And scorpions? That’s freaky! I’ve never saw a scorpion before, but I don’t wish too! And yeah, centipedes are so creepy! Sometimes one will make its way into our house! It’s so scary! They crawl so fast and they have so many legs… It’s just plain terrifying! And yeah, it is kind of upsetting that no one believes me. I know I saw it, and I would never lie to anyone about that! It is very odd to see a tarantula where I live, but it is possible!

      • xmy9tailxkinz says:

Sure….Thanks for the present by the way!!! I like monkeys but, I don’t like ants….

        • WingsOfFreedom says:

You’re welcome, Tails! I’m glad you liked it! :-)

        • ilovemoonie says:

Oh wow TaffyKitty12! That sounds scary! I have a tarantula story too. I was probably 7 or 8, and my family drove into the country to see an eclipse, and we saw a tarantula there! I didn’t think it was that bad at first, but then my dad got Out of the car to take a picture of it, and it STOOD UP ON ITS FOUR BACK LEGS!!! That scared me to death. I pictured it jumping onto my dad! It didn’t, but for the next few days, I was so scared that it would come to our house. And then, a few mornings after that, me and my sister were In our room, and I turned around, and there it was. A TARANTULA!! If I hadn’t turned around then, it could have crawled on me!! It was the one one of scariest things That ever happens to me! So now I’ve learned, don’t constantly think something bad will happen, or you might end up with a tarantula in your bedroom.

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

OMG, ilovemoonie, that is the scariest thing ever!!!!! I was freaked out just reading about it!!!! I didn’t know they could stand up!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Omg! That’s scary!! It’s bad enough a tarantula stood up on its back legs (that’s so creepy! It gives me the shivers just thinking about it!) but it made its way into your room?! I would be so terrified!! That’s scary!! If that happened to me, I would be beyond terrified!!!!! Also, I know this is unrelated, but I’m almost positive I read something that said that tarantulas could swim 0_o I think I’m going to have to check the pool before I swim in it next time!

      • ChristianCowgirl123 says:

ooh, i’m webkinz777123. You asked me before! :)

        • WingsOfFreedom says:

          Ok, thanks ChristianCowgirl! :-)

        • ilovemoonie says:

Yeah it was terrible! It crawled up the wall and all the way to the other side of the room before my dad finally was able to get it! I didn’t know they could SWIM TaffyKitty12! I’m imagining a tarantula swimming….. I wonder if they can run really fast…. And WingsOfFreedom, I didn’t know they could stand up either, until I saw one do it! I guess it was trying to defend itself… It didn’t work on my dad, but if I were ever watching a tarantula(which I wouldn’t be) and It stood up like that that, I would be gone! I read in science that some tarantula can live like, over twenty years! I also read that that same type of tarantula (legs included) can be up to the size of a dinner plate! But It said they didn’t live around here..I think…

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

I can’t imagine how scary that was! That must have been terrifying! If that happened to me, it would be like my worst nightmare turned reality! It’s a good thing you noticed it and your dad was able to get it! And yeah, when I found out they could swim, I was like “what? How is that possible?!” I don’t know how they could swim with their eight legs, but it’s scary! That means if there was a tarantula and I kicked it into the water, it would still be alive cause it could swim! It’s like they’re indestructible 0_o And that’s creepy how they can stand on their hind legs! If I saw that, I would take off running! And the size… That’s one of the scariest things of all! If I see an itty bitty spider, I scream, so imagine what I’d do if I saw a tarantula…. It wouldn’t be pretty!!

    • WingsOfFreedom says:

Oh and that’s really funny, FennecFox! I think I spelled one of my pet’s name wrong, I just can’t remember which one! Now I’ll have to check… it’d be so awesome if they made it so that you could change your pet’s names! I have two named Oreo, and one of them is a boy!!

      • TaffyKitty12 says:

Yeah, I wish I could change names as well. Two of my pets have misspelt names. One is named “Fiower” (I accidentally typed in an “i” instead of an “L”. And one is named “Island Rythm” even though rhythm is supposed to have an extra “h”. I also have a lot of pets that are named the and thing as another one (I have two named rainbow, two named Rose, etc.) but those were mainly done on purpose because I’m running out of name ideas, and it’s easier to name a pet after another then to come up with another name.. Sometimes…

        • nutmegspicy says:

When I run out of name ideas, I usually see what a word is in a different language. For example, I named my Portuguese Water dog Cao D’Agua which basically means water dog in Portuguese. Then for my koalas I’m going with a precious stone theme, Emerald, Lazuli and Jasper. I guess what I’m trying to say is: when you run out of ideas, use google translate! =) Or come up with a theme that has names that you like, flowers, gems, fictional characters, names native to a certain country etc. Anyway, just thought this might help anybody who’s stuck for a name. =)

          • ilovemoonie says:

I just name most of my Webkinz human names these days. You can never run out of those!

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

I sometimes do that too, nutmegspicey!! When i just feel completely brain dead, I’m like, how about naming it a word in another language!!

          • BrightnSinging2Carrots says:

I do something similar, nutmegspicy! If I can’t find a word or name in English, I’ll use Google Translate to find a word related to the pet but in a different language. :)

      • ilovemoonie says:

i know right! i really wish you could change your pets names! its not that i spelled very many of them wrong… there may have been one or two, though i can’t remember right now… but its because when i was younger, i named them simple, boring, names that i decided to change later on. so now, i have quite a few webkinz that have different names online then there actual names! I want my bluejay to be Leonard, not blueberry! and I want my mouse to be rye, not squeak! and my signature westie to be Mr. cuddles, and my pinto horse to be pinto,(instead of paint) and my toucan to be mango, not fluffy! i mean, fluffy? for a toucan? i’m not saying its bad, to anyone who has a toucan named fluffy, i personally, just don’t like naming any stuffed animals fluffy. i prefer more uncommon names. oh and heres a silly one, my webkinz eagle is named fuzzy online, but his real name is eagle. wow ilovemoonie, what a creative name for your eagle! i also have a striped snake named snake. i named them that a long time ago, they were the trouble makers of my webkinz, so i used them a lot. now it would just be weird to change it. anyways, sorry to make this comment so long, i think it would be great if they let you change the names of your webkinz!

        • WingsOfFreedom says:

I was laughing SO hard by the end of your comment!! Please don’t take that the wrong way, it’s just the way you delivered it was so funny!! It’s alright though, I have some weird names for mine too, ilovemoonie. That’s the one problem with starting webkinz when you’re really young, you don’t always choose the most creative names. But sometimes  what seem to be the less creative ones are really the names you like best because of the memories they give you. I think that’s what makes a name so special and unique, the memories you associate with them. So if Snake and Eagle are two of your most used ones and made many wonderful memories with you, then those are two of the most special and unique names! :-)

          • ilovemoonie says:

Thank you WingsOfFreedom, I like being funny. :) and I agree, about the names, cause some of the ones that I’ve had the best memories with, have the worst names. Like my first Webkinz, the blue hippo, is named blue. And then when I got the lil’ kinz hippo…. I should have waited to get it cause what did I name it? Baby Blue!! Really!? One blue is bad is enough! I also named my googles plady,(cause I thought it was a platypus). But those are some of the ones I like the most, so I don’t care that they have bad names. By the way, I was laughing really hard at your comment about headwig! :D

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

You’re welcome, ilovemoonie!! Haha, that’s hilarious!!! But I think those are cute names. :-) Oh thank you, i love being funny too! :-)

      • FennecFox says:

aw, , WingsofFreedom and TaffyKitty! LOL actually, when you miss-spell a name, you get a new, creative one! Look on the bright side! :)

        • TaffyKitty12 says:

That is true! Maybe Fiower can be a mix of the words fire and flower… Then it wouldn’t seem like a mistake! Perhaps her name can be put to good use now! ;)

        • WingsOfFreedom says:

Yeah, except, I was naming my snowy owl after Hedwig from Harry Potter, but I spelled it Headwig, and now I’m laughing stupidly because it’s like trying to explain what a wig is: it’s a wig, and it goes on your head….. *drumroll* it’s a headwig!!!!! And TaffyKitty, if it were a combination of fire and flower, then Fiower would be a cool name!!

          • FennecFox says:

Yep, taffyKitty12! Fiower! Cool! And HAHA WingsOfFreedom FUNNY!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

That’s actually kind of funny, WingsOfFire! Well, it’s just that that misspelling is kind of funny. It’s okay though, I’ve misspelt quite a few names before, and sometimes it’s actually quite embarrassing. But Hedwig isn’t the easiest name to spell. If I named my pet that, I probably would’ve misspelt it as well. I have to admit though, the name Headwig sounds hilarious! I’m sorry, I can’t stop thinking that it’s funny! The accidental misspelling isn’t, but the end result is a little funny. Hehe…Sorry about that. And thanks Fennec and WingsOfFire! Now I can put the name Fiower to good use! Instead of it being a misspelling that really embarrassed me, now it’s a cool new name! ;D

          • WingsOfFreedom says:

Thanks, FennecFox! :-) Haha, I’m glad you thought it was funny, TaffyKitty! It’s alright, I won’t get offended if you laugh! After i realized that i spelled it wrong, i was just like, *sigh* and i call myself a Harry Potter fan… Yeah, if anyone asks you about it, just tell them it’s a mixture of flower and fire and say it’s pronounced fee-oh-way! You know that in Japanese, firework is made of the words for fire and flower!

          • TaffyKitty12 says:

Haha.. I’m so sorry! Every single time I read about the Headwig thing, I laugh! It’s okay, and thanks for understanding! And wow, that’s cool! I think I’m going to pronounce it that way! And it’s cool that the word “fireworks” in Japenese is a mixture of the words “fire” and “flower”! Thanks for letting me know! That’s awesome! Now I’m glad I named her Fiower instead of Flower! ;)

        • BrightnSinging2Carrots says:

Ugh, I’ve done that before! I was naming my Lil’ Kinz Black Poodle Odile laPooffe, but it turned into Odlie laPooffe! Poor Odlie–um–Odile!

      • ilovemoonie says:

TaffyKitty12, I looked up if tarantulas can swim,(I didn’t really find a definite answer) but on Wikipedia, it was talking about A type of tarantula, the giant baboon spider, I think it was, and it said they were one of the only kind of spiders that could swim and that they sometimes dive to catch fish. DIVE? A tarantula? I couldn’t imagine that, but it sounds horrible! :/ I’m like you with spiders, if I see even a tiny little spider I get scared, so that’s why I hate tarantulas so much. I’ve been scared of spiders for as long as I can remember, there one of my biggest fears. So a tarantula is like my biggest fear, 25 times BIGGER!! :O

        • TaffyKitty12 says:

That’s scary! A taratantula that can DIVE? And eat fish?! That’s just too creepy! O_o and yeah, spiders are so scary! Sometimes people wonder why I scream when I see one, but in my defense, they’re just plain creepy! They have eight legs, seven eyes, fangs, it’s scary! Plus ceryain ones can grow huge

          • shuggylay says:

Oh guys, these tarantula stories are seriously CREEPY! I’m super glad I’ve never seen one before, considering I’m pretty much deathly afraid of little eensy-weensy spiders. And the naming thing? Don’t worry about that, guys. My first Webkinz, a pug, is named Subie. What on Earth is Subie? And I have a Fiesta Unicorn that is supposed to be named Purple Rain, but when I asked my sister to type it in for me, she thought (for some reason) that I said Schmurple Rain, though I don’t know what Schmurple is.

          • ilovemoonie says:

I know!!! When I read that, I imagined a tarantula diving Into a pond, catching a fish bigger than itself, and propelling itself back up and out of the water. Ahhhh! It sounds SO CREEPY! I don’t know why spiders are so scary to me. I guess it’s the eight legs, the way they walk, how they spin webs, they’re just so creepy. along with tarantulas, some of the spiders That really scare me are wolf spiders and those ones with little body’s and really long legs. Ewwww. They’re awful!! As long as I live, I don’t think I’ll ever like spiders.

          • ilovemoonie says:

Bye TaffyKitty12. Nice chatting with you!

  7. ilovemoonie says:

Wait, dosn’t the Webkinz chimpanzee look a LOT like this? Why make another one?

  8. FennecFox says:

The plush looks pretty much like the regular webkinz chimpanzee, but the virtual look is cute!

  9. ChristianCowgirl123 says:

Omygoodness! I NEED THIS PET! It’s soooooo cute! *african monkey dance* join me! :)

  10. TaffyKitty12 says:

This pet is pretty cute in the video. However, I still like the Eskimo dog better ;) ~Firestar&Sandstorm~ ~Mistyfoot&Stonefur~
