Grandma checked YouTube today several times: seems we did not reach goal and cannot get big prize. Is it?
Just giving an update for the challenge. We are at 5719 subscribers. Getting closer but hopefully we will make it by the 29th. It would be nice to complete the challenge. We have two more days. Let’s spread the word!! :)
my children will not be signing up as well. i don’t think this challenge will be met unfortunately.
awesome channel.i visited it today.
I subscribed today, just wondering how we will get our code for the booth ? Thank you.
5,694 subscribers as of 4/25.
We did not reach goal and unfortunately for all of us, I think, cannot get prize.
thanks
Community challenges are always fun, I like having them a lot. This one, not so much. I do not think this was a great idea and will not be signing up.
my daughter is not allowed to participate in any social media
i need to say something…… I’m definately not trying to be rude! but may you please try to lower the yt subscribers? its because a lot of people who play webkinz are kids NOT adults…. The reason why i said that is because a lot of people aren’t allowed or don’t want to have youtube! :) thanks for your time hope y’all reach the goal… ~Sunnycakes~ (webkinz rocks!)
I totally agree. YouTube is full of vulgar content and even though I’m old enough, even I don’t like to go there. I can totally understand parents not wanting their kids on YT. Mine sure didn’t. I think Ganz is shooting too high with this one…
I agree, but if you’re older than twelve, then you can make yourself a Google Account, which automatically give you a YouTube Account. And, with a Google Account you can merge your e-mails, if you have another e-mail account. Besides, not everything is vulgar. In fact, most things are not. If you do choose to look though, a word of caution; while most things are ok on YouTube, some are not, so be careful that you never misspell things, which could lead you astray.
I agree as well and I am an adult. I think the prize is way cool and I would like one for all my family’s accounts however, I don’t feel you tube is the answer. The game challenges are more suitable for the younger Kinz Kids. Good luck with the goal and I hope you reach it so we can all enjoy the booth.
YouTube has a Parental Control filter that can be turned on to help make it much more child friendly. Just Google “Youtube Restricted Mode” to learn more.
I agree too. My daughter was not allowed to look at YouTube until age 16, & then we had a LOT of “interesting” conversations about what is appropriate and what is not. I don’t have a YouTube account & never will. I think this was a marketing decision that may not pay off.
we are only at 5,500 something. when is the deadline? i am wondering if we can actually do this…
*Gulp* April 29…
Awesome prize. If I only hada youtube accout OF COURCE I will suscribe, and which i don’t. BTW, is that prize only for people who suscribed or, like, anyone?
If we reach 7,500 we will post a Community Code that can be used by EVERYONE!
Mandy, That is nice! Now if we don’t reach 7,500 there will be no code passed out? The only computer that will accept Utube is Dads and he said “NO WAY”. I was considering a compromise with him to sign up on the 28th and after the code comes out and the count I will unsubscribe from utube. This way I show that I want it even though it is not allowed and I have to take it off. Just one day shouldn’t hurt. Then you will know how many would be on utube if they could be! So will this be ok? thank you, catladyinpajamas
Hi MisakiMKt, you can subscribe with an email account :)
