We gave you a sneak peek at this pet in an earlier Webkinz Newz story, and now we’d like to present to you our newest Webkinz plush pet, the Hedgehog!
UPDATE: The darker version of the plush that you see in the video is actually an earlier prototype of this pet that was updated after Steve recorded his video. We are in the process of updating the virtual version. Anyone who adopts this pet will see the darker version of the hedgehog on their Webkinz account until August 30th, at which point it will switch to the final version with lighter face (pictured below).

Michael, where’s the Magic W on this pet? Is it just me, or did Steve never show it? Are you bringing back Webkinz without Magic W’s, because the W’s are one of my favorite things about Webkinz pets :(

Also, I know this was a long time ago, but when the Siberian Husky (not the signature, I mean the regular that was an estore exclusive) was released, I thought it was adorable in the picture. When I got the package, it really looked hardly anything like how it did in the picture. I was kinda disappointed because it was so cute on there! I still love Flurry (that’s what I named him), but I still look back at the picture and compare the pets. Is that because the unboxing video/picture was showing a different prototype of the pet?
I was wondering the same thing! I went back and watched Steve Webkinz show all of the different angles twice because I don’t remember seeing the magic W either. Is there one on this pet?

I have to admit, the plush is pretty quirky and cute! It looks very huggable. XD The virtual, however.. the colors just don’t look right. I’m not sure why it’s so hard to get the colors closer..? Well, I’ll enter this contest anyway since the plush is cute. Maybe I’ll get really lucky. =P

I guarantee it’s not just you, Taffy. A lot of other people think the same thing, and I for one definitely agreed with you. The virtual is, well, let’s just say that I was shocked when I first saw it. Definitely not how I expected it to look, but it’s still unique and kinda cute
