Webkinz Next House Tour

So, one of the cool features of Webkinz Next is that you can visit your friends houses whenever you want! It does mean, though, that I spend probably more time on decorating than I should!

With that in mind, I wanted to give a house tour to show a peek at my place. You can take a full tour by adding me on Webkinz Next (Fire Shadowglow 1) — once we’re friends, you can mosey on over and go through all my rooms!

I’ve gone a little hog wild on the properties, so I’ll organize these accordingly.

Main Digs

This was my first room and I’ve been picking at it ever since I started my account. I kept a lot of the original elements, but I definitely have a semi-holiday feel to it.

Here’s my crafting room, with my camera set up so I can make how-to videos!

We launched last October, so a Halloween room was very important to me. My first pet, Tabby, is dressed year-round in her Witch costumes. I’ve also put the new slag recipe items in here — they kinda have a gothic feel!

Winter follows Fall, so I obviously needed a frozen room to keep all my winter stuff together! This tends to be where my Christmas stuff ends up, but after this year I’m definitely going to have to think about expanding.

Had to make a room when we released this theme. Just love it.

I’ve been a little baby obsessed these days, so I absolutely needed a nursery.

This was the last room added to my main house — I wanted to show off two Webkinz Next exclusive themes.

Everything Else!

When we introduced properties, I immediately bought one! I use this as my version of the showroom — a place you can take a look at the latest premium theme. I’ve already mixed the premium Christmas theme with the KinzCash one, and with the Disco Rhino there, it’s now my Christmas Party room!

Of course, I had to have the villa when that came out. I used to have this as my “Farm to Table Cafe” but now that there’s a farm property, I moved all my crops there.

The Lakeside property was added after that, and while my actual room is kind of a mish mash at the moment, I did quite like the look of the Summer Teak theme out in the woods.

I moved all of my denim furniture to the farmhouse property! I don’t have a huge number of crops, but I am sure to keep my farmer’s plot stocked to get the best possible crops!

Sally Webkinz, I LOVE that you put your first aid cabinet near your workbench! I did the same exact thing! LOL! It seemed like the most logical place to need it if this was real life. I really like your frozen room! Are some of the items in there from last Christmas season? I only started mid-way through this year, and I have never seen a lot of the items in that room. Your babies are adorable! Can you choose to keep them as babies, or children if you want, or do you have to grow each of them up into an adult webbie? Does your house expand as your family grows? If not, does the design team have a plan to make a lot of bunkbeds?? From the baby showcases you do every week, it seems like some players’ webbie families are very large, and I don’t know where they will put everyone! I have a friend irl that has 12 kids in the family, and they had 3 bedrooms in their house. @_@ They had some triple bunks, and the dad joked about hanging hammocks from the light fixtures. (They didn’t really. They moved to a big farmhouse, thank goodness!!)

Yes, I’ve decorated with last year’s Christmas items :) And no, babies don’t have to be aged up. I plan on keeping my Rainbow Retriever a wee bairn forever. Your access to additional rooms increases when you adopt or spark pets, but you don’t get a room automatically. Each plot also has a max number of rooms, but that’s where more properties come in. I think we do have a bunkbed or two already, but I don’t have one personally.
