Young Hollywood royalty won’t be forgotten in the famous gift bags that stars and celebrities receive in advance of Sunday night’s festivities.
Webkinz Signature™ pets are part of the sought-after gift bag handed out at the Red Carpet Style Lounge in honor of the 83rd Academy Awards.
This year, the invitation-only event will support spcaLA. Celebrities such as Natalie Portman, Amy Adams, Michele Williams, the cast of Glee and more will be autographing a gift bag which will be auctioned off, with all proceeds going directly to the spcaLA.
“We think our Webkinz pets belong on the red carpet”, said company president Howard Ganz. “With donations going in support of spcaLA, our Signature Series dogs are a perfect fit. Attending this premiere event will be our Pomeranians, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Labradoodles and of course, Portuguese Water Dogs.”
Held at the Four Seasons Beverly Wiltshire, the celebrity attendees will be gifted with couture gowns, jewelry, spa visits, hotel stays, gourmet meals…and Webkinz pets!
“We were invited to participate by Secret Room Events, and we thought it was a fun way to share the excitement of Webkinz World.” said Ganz spokesperson Susan McVeigh. “We know many celebrity parents are big fans of our site, and after Sunday night, perhaps one of our Webkinz Signature dogs will travel home beside an Oscar®!”
I have the Signature Pomeranian named Rusty, Signature Endangered Red Wolf named Stike, Signature Timber Wolf named Hunter, Signature Small Fox named Hurricane, Signature Labradoodle named Sashia, and Signature Cheetah named Brightheart!!!! But I Love My POMERANIAN Rusty The Best!!! He`s SOOOOOO CUTE and tough(And a little mean) looking!!! Aw Aw Aww, I wish that Webkinz will make a plush Signature Black Pomeranian I have one in real life named Charlie!!!!! =.3

I think Webkinz should make a pet and even a signature pet that us as (WebKidz) could send as gifts to our friends!!! I have several great friends I would love to gift them, after all I have been ill for a while and my mom and dad buy me lots of webkinz pets and the friends I have met in webkinz world are always around for me to talk to and play. So it would be great to send them a gift at the holidays a webkinz pet that can be sent as a gift, maybe purchased thru the estore but able to be gifted would be the next step for Webkinz to give us the Webkidz that play .
