I am pleased to present the finalists for the Webkinz Room Design Awards! There are 27 players in the group and they have each been featured in one of my room design posts since the last Room Design Awards were held in November. It’s a large group, but 10 of the finalists will win a Webkinz Room Design Trophy.
Here’s how the winners will be chosen:
- 5 winners will be decided by a vote right here on Webkinz Newz. On Wednesday, February 27th, players can vote for their favorite design and the 5 designers who receive the most votes will be awarded a Room Design Trophy.
- 4 winners will be chosen by the Webkinz Newz Team. Sally, Mandy, Steve and I will each choose our favorite room design and the designers will be awarded a Room Design Trophy
- The 10th winner will be chosen by the Webkinz staff, here at Webkinz headquarters
Now it’s time to meet the finalists… Please take time to look over each of their designs. You’ll only be able to vote for one on February 27th:

Remember, voting begins on Wednesday, February 27th, right here on Webkinz Newz. You only have until Thursday, February 28th (midnight EST), to vote for your favorite design and I will be posting the results on Friday, March 1st.
You can only vote once, but every vote counts, so make sure you tell your friends and family to visit Webkinz Newz on February, 27th, to be part of Webkinz history and participate in the Webkinz Room Design Awards!
That Spring Garden looks edited. I don’t think you can fit that many garden dirt patches in that front-strip area.
I just tried it and put 10 Farmer’s Field Floor Tiles and it fits perfectly.
Demolition Derby and the KinzKennel to me were different . I have seen similar rooms to most in the past . But size wise these 2 themes were proportioned so well I just have a hard time deciding. ALL of them are very well done and just in reality figuring how to enter is hard in itself . WE normally don’t have so many to choose from . ONLY thing I would change is on the KinzKennel. Make bunny area smaller and take a couple of the Dancing Turkeys and put them in a pen. A magic hat with the Hamster could sit next to the Fish tank on the wall . Just to add a little humor.
I’m with bullseyejingles444, I hadn’t checked the news in a few days and when I saw time to vote I clicked to see the finalists so I could vote and was shocked (I literally gasped) when I saw that my younger family member got picked as one of the finalists. They proceeded to come into the room and repeat my action when they saw their Ice Fishing room and the lovely little “Finalist” in the corner. Great Job everyone who was picked, but a special shout out to one of my favorite people in real life and in game woolyskittles! I am so proud of you. ;)

I’m still seriously surprised to be in the finals for the first time. I’m so thrilled for all the other players who have been chosen for the room design finalists. My favorite room is the Grand Estate room. Even though that’s my favorite I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings by sharing my opinion. Regardless if your rooms are favorites of mine or not I’m still cheering for you all. Good luck everybody!!!!!!!!
