Hey guys! It’s time to reveal the 10 finalists for our 2nd Webkinz Room Design Awards! Congratulations to all the finalists and remember, voting starts Monday November 9th at 10am and ends on Wednesday November 11th at noon:
3 finalists will receive a Room Design Trophy! Here’s how the winners will be chosen:
- The 1st winner will be decided by a vote right here on Webkinz Newz. From November 9 – November 11 (ending at noon) players can vote for their favorite design and the winner will be awarded the trophy.
- The 2nd winner will be chosen by the Webkinz Creative Team
- The 3rd and final winner will be chosen by me, Michael Webkinz!
Each of the 10 finalists will receive 10,000 eStore points. If you are one of the finalists, please check your email that is associated with your Ganz World account for details.
Winners will be announced on Thursday November 12th. Do you have a favorite so far? Please leave your comments below…

The Evil Queen’s Castle is one of my favorites, along with the Clover Patch Garden and the Candy Cane Lane. Also, the Creepy Cavern Canyon piece of 1Emerald1′s story is awesome! I can’t wait to vote on the winner!!

Hi kittymade10! Michael said the winners were chosen from screen shots that had been featured between I think some time in July to November fifth, then he chose ten finalists! Hopefully this helps!

Unfortunately I only know how to take a screen shot on a Mac computer and to do that, you just press command, shift, and three, all at once and it will appear on the desktop:-)

Congrats to all of the finalists!!! It’s super hard to pick favorites, but I love the creepy cavern canyon, polling station, and the zoo. However, I still think that all of the rooms that were chosen are great! Good luck to all of the finalists!

Yeah I love them all and how unique they are!!! I mean, like using dividers to make it an indoor/outdoor tea party thing!!! That is way beyond my creativity level and the others are simply amazing as well!!! XD
You know, I love how when somebody on WKN gets put in the finals, they don’t talk about how good their rooms are, but instead what they like about their other competitors’ rooms! Great sportsmanship guys <3

Hi Picia. I chose 10 of my favorite rooms from all the Fan Build Screenshot posts that we have featured over the past few months. It was very hard to narrow it down to 10. We plan on doing more of these in the future so keep sending me your room designs!

Anyhoo, I like the Strawberry Tea Party room a lot, but how do the pets get to the other side of the room? Oh, and are the winners made into Clubhouse rooms? If they’re gonna be Clubhouse rooms, I like the Beach Party room.

Oh, hullo there TheMamaDragon! Your room was really creative… I wish I had better room-making skills, heh. I have a bunch of generic rooms like “My Kitchen”. And I think two generic bathrooms. Which, now that I think about it, considering the size of my Webkinz house and the amount of Webkinz I have, is not very much. :P I do sometimes do a bit of mixing and matching, though. I’m just not very good at it. (“^-^)
Keep trying! Just browse what’s available to buy and swap around walls and floors in a room and let your mind try out different ideas for spaces while the decorations and furniture are fresh in your brain. I’ve sent in a ton of rooms (my house map is a nightmare!). -TheMamaDragon
I’ve never actually sent in rooms. I guess I don’t really feel like using my email… I dunno. I kinda want to get an email exclusively for my internet account thingies (although right now it’s just Webkinz and Webkinz Newz, but I hope to get others some time), so I doubt I’ll have any featured any time soon. But hey, I’ll keep trying to come up with good designs.
Keep at it Pokekinz! I sent my own in recently. I highly doubt anything would happen would happen with your email, though. But, yeah, you could just make another email for random stuff that you don’t really trust.. That’s what my brother did.
Yeah, I could name it after this account. XD I just didn’t really want to because it hints at my actual name, and if I wanted to take credit for the room… Then yeah. :P I’m working on some country-themed rooms for one of my pets, and a bunch of others, but I can only work on them when I have pieces of furniture or decorations to put in them. So, I decorate them as I collect the stuff I want for them. I recently finished a “Sweet 16″ room (which proves that Webkinz must be able to at least be teenagers; they aren’t all little kids >:D) for one of my yet-to-be-logged-on pets, and I think that turned out pretty well. I put a teddy bear in it. XD
