Awesome rooms!!
I just love looking at the room designs and I don’t always comment but I laughed and thought what a “hoot” A SCHOOL OF FISH was. Then as I scrolled through the designs one after another enjoying each one. To mention a few of the others, the POOL PATIO looks like an ideal place to rest. CHIFFON’S ROOM cleverly balanced her space to make a beautiful home. The HAIR SALON looked like it was designed by an interior decorator. IN THE WOODS, looks like an event you don’t want to miss. I loved the colour combo in the BEDROOM and the selection of items used particularly the flamingos. The idea for FATHER’S DAY AT THE CAFÉ was ingenious as was the OUTDOOR MALL. I also love seeing the special places for the animals like at MUFFY’S RANCH. The FARM-TO-TABLE CAFÉ was also fascinating. Thank you everyone for sharing your favourite rooms.
I’m so glad you got a kick out of my “School of Fish. I was laughing the whole time I was putting the room together! If you look at the teacher, Sea Star my Seahorse, by the way I “dressed” her with glasses and a wig with a bun, I kind of projected myself in her. My hair, however, is still brown and not blue. Although, I have told friends and family that once my long hair turns silvery white, I am going to have pastel shades of pink and purple “ribbons” of hair colored professionally at a salon, so that I’ll have a curly unicorn mane. I appreciated the insight into your work and the teacher, Sea Star. I took another peak at your picture and I still like it. Have fun when you start experimenting with colours in your hair.
LadyBeauty, I have missed seeing your rooms, somehow I always seem to miss when you post and that room! Underwater rooms are so hard to make look vibrant, but you really pulled some magic out of the hat with the ‘School of Fish’ room, clever pun, clever design! I love it’s humorous name and all the activities you can see your water pets having in there. What a Fun room!
Thank-you! I got the idea when I got several of the Deep Sea Lockers on the Wheel of Wow, and thought what if they were lockers in a school? Then my quirky sense of humor took over, as evidenced by a yellow submarine as a school bus! It was fun to put together and the retired teacher in me thought about what kind of science curriculum would be important for the small fry to be knowledgeable of. Even though I’m now retired, I guess this is my Back To School project! LadyBeauty
First off, thank you for fixing the log in!! What a fantastic set of rooms, I swear people are getting more and more creative with their rooms, these days. That salon using those mobile elements is so amazing and makes that room look bigger than it really is, you have a whole lot going on there and incorporating the ballet mirrors into the styling station was ingenious! No over use of colors and that flooring hack, using the turnable tiles was just the perfect addition to separate spaces. Seeing the Farm Fresh Fun room is a visual delight because I can see all of the elements in their native environment and it gives me some idea of how to use them. It is so filled with farm animals and it looks like a happy farm, to be sure. Muffy’s ranch is so country! Look at all those happy COWS and the one donkey to protect them all from predators. I love this room so much. Ancient Greece is beautiful, That waterfall placement is perfect for that room because the Curio Shop doesn’t have nearly as many items for that theme, it’s hard to really get a nice room that pulls it all together and you did it so nicely, Ellie. Farm to Table, I love this 3D room! Next rooms always fascinate me because you can angle things different for perspective and this room is so rich in detail that you almost feel like you are in a real kitchen. I’d love to say more about the other rooms, but this is already way too long to read. All of these rooms are just amazing! Thank you everyone for sharing them! Thank you Michael for showing them 😍 😍
Wow! There are a couple of really spectacular rooms here, great use of resources. I’m looking at you Hair Salon by Cochie23!
GREAT rooms.
Terrific rooms everyone.
