There is a restaurant back in my home town called Barnaby’s, and its mascot is a sheep dog so I think its fitting for its name to be Barnaby.
Aww, what a cute little dog this is! ^-^ I know they already have another Sheepdog, which I don’t have, but, judging by the pictures, I think I like this one better. I think it’s face is cuter, and I like the idea of having shorter, thicker fur over the really long, fluffy kind. Ah, I can just imagine how soft and cuddly this one must be! Don’t get me wrong, I am getting tired of the remakes, but still, I can’t help but like this little guy. (The virtual and PSI are really cool, too!) I can’t get one with the free shipping, because I just recently bought some Webkinz, but I do hope to get this pet sometime soon! :)

Hmm… this pet is pretty cute, but in my opinion, it looks too similar to the Old English Sheepdog, which I own (except that one is fluffier and I think I like the face on it better). Don’t get me wrong… I like this pet, but I kinda wish Webkinz would make less remakes and more “unique” animals. Not to say that I don’t like the remakes (I’ve bought many of them, some of which I really, really like), but this one is far too similar, in my opinion, and I guess I’d kinda like something new? I know Ganz says that puppies are their best seller, but that might be because nearly half their plush are dogs (and most of the recent dogs haven’t even been new species. I’ve still been waiting for a plush sheltie, but to no avail). Personally, I’d love to see more exotic animals. What about a platypus? Or more dragons? Wolves and weasels also seem to be very popular (anyone remember how the snow cap ferret sold out the first day?), too! Again, this pet is cute, but I guess I’m a bit bummed because only a few of the plushes that came out this year have been “unique”. It seems like most of the cool animals become virtual-only, which I rarely buy because I prefer plush :P
Ah, I know, Taffy.. I agree, the virtual is very similar to the original. I don’t know why they won’t make any interesting animals into plush! I’d also love to see a Sheltie as well as a serval and different foxes. Have you seen the marble fox? Or the silver fox? They’re so pretty! It’s sad how many good Webkinz ideas are used for virtual.. I mean, for actual real animals, those should be plushes. For weird/creative and hard to make plushes, those should be virtual pets, ya know? I don’t know. I’m getting used to seeing the same sort of thing over and over again with every new plush. They all just seem like.. the same. Maybe that’s just me, but nothing has really stuck out to me (I hardly remember the past months’ pets besides the llama they made a bit ago). I don’t know what we can do about it though, cause they don’t seem to pay much attention to our plush requests.
I would LOVE to have a plush Silver Fox webkinz. A plush Cross Fox with a red tail & a plush Darwin’s Fox would be awesome, too. Pittiesrule
I thought for sure it was a guinea pig because of the eye and pink ear in the sneak peek!! Very cute sheep dog!! Happy times for those who adopt one!!
This is another remake, which would normally make me unhappy, but I actually like this one! I have to admit that Steve is right, the old Webkinz sheepdog was a little too fluffy crazy (almost like the Himalayan Cat.. that one was INTENSE!). I mean, you could brush it down and make it look nice, but not everyone is gonna do that. The shorter fur makes more sense and looks really soft too! The plush itself is cute and I’m sure very cuddlable. ;P The virtual is actually quite similar to the other one, besides the darker grey, and ya know.. I like that! I don’t know, I just appreciate the older look, I guess. Either way, the virtual is cute as well, so I think this is a nicely rounded pet! I’ll be sure to enter the Name Me contest for this guy. ^-^ (Oh and since we’re on the subject of sheepdogs.. how about a new (remake) of the border collie and regular collie Webkinz, eh? Or maybe make an Australian Shepherd? That would be amazing! <3)
