I think I might name him Schroder. There used to be a show on TV called Silver Spoons, and the title character, Ricky Stratton, was played by this kid named Ricky Schroder. The PSI, and the description of this pet, made me think of this show right away! And if the Peanuts character is any indication, he’d be a brilliant pianist! XD
I would name him/her Sylvar, which means silver.
