Hello Webkinz Newz readers, it’s Ella McWoof, your official “Webkinz Votes 2014” reporter.
In early October, Ms. Cowoline, the School Superintendent at the Kinzville Academy, became the third candidate to run for Mayor of Kinzville. If elected mayor, she has promised to reduce the number of days required to earn recess from 15 down to 10. However, she also mentioned she would be unable to keep the Super School Days program open. Today I’m in studio for a special one on one interview with “Webkinz Votes 2014” mayoral candidate, Ms. Cowoline!
ELLA: Ms. Cowoline, thank you for joining me today.
MS. COWOLINE: It’s always a pleasure to talk to one of the academy’s most talented alumni. It feels like just yesterday you were reading the daily announcement over the school PA. Now you’ve become the trusted voice for the citizens of Kinzville! We’re all so proud of you, Ella!
ELLA: Aw, thanks Ms. Cowoline! I have to ask though– what do you think of another one of your little students running against you for Mayor of Kinzville? Of course I’m referring to your daughter, Cowabelle!
MS. COWOLINE: I’m also very proud of Cowabelle. I’ve always raised her to care about her friends and her community, so I wasn’t totally surprised to learn that she also wanted to run for mayor.
ELLA: About that: some have suggested that Cowabelle’s entry into the race was an attempt to get your attention, and that she is concerned about the demands on your time, between running the academy AND becoming mayor.
MS. COWOLINE: She certainly has a right to be concerned. Public office does demand a lot of one’s time, and juggling both will be a challenge. However, this is exactly the reason why I said I would not be able to continue the Super School Days program if I was elected mayor. My first and most important job is being Cowabelle’s mother, and I would never allow anything to take priority over her.
ELLA: On a different subject, what do you think about Daisy Doe’s recent announcement to partner with Mr. Moo’s ice cream stand business?
MS: COWOLINE: I certainly applaud Ms. Doe’s willingness to adapt her previous approach to creating change for Kinzville. However, I must admit to being a little suspicious about her motivations.
ELLA: So you think it’s just a ploy to help get her elected?
MS. COWOLINE: I think Ms. Doe is still quite new to this town, and I think it’s early for anyone to be entirely sure what her true intentions might be.
ELLA: And what do you think of the other candidates who have entered the race?
MS. COWOLINE: I’m afraid I don’t know very much about Mr. Dangerous beyond his films. However, Tabby and Sheldon are both good friends of mine, so I’m honored to have their added perspectives as we all work towards the same goal of making Kinzville a better place to live and play.
ELLA: Is there anything you’d like to add about your campaign or about the election in general? Something you’d like the voters to know?
MS. COWOLINE: I think everyone already knows my values well enough. They know what kind of mayor I would be. They know how much I care about everyone in Kinzville. No matter what the polls say, I won’t be changing my platform in an attempt to get more votes. I think this is a very important time for the citizens of Kinzville. They have six strong candidates who all have a vision for the future of this community. But when “Mooving Forward”, some things must be left behind in order for there to be progress. I want the voters to focus on the positive change that each candidate is looking to bring to Kinzville, rather than worrying about holding on to the past and the way things were. If they vote with that in mind, then no matter what the outcome is for me, I will be happy that the citizens of Kinzville have made the right decision.

I agree totally!!! Anyways people should be more laid back like Sheldon :) Then people wouldn’t need to be sooooooooooooo stressed and beside themselves :P Sometimes you just need to stop and say “Would you look at that!!!” Anyways if you ask me all the other Mayor runners are doing are trying to complicate things by taking something away to give you something else :P Ummm ya for me that’s NOT a good deal :(
Yes people are too stressed and should be like Sheldon. Relaxing is actually healthy for the body. I don’t see why they all need to take away stuff, what we get in return isn’t even that great. Cowabelles take away isnt terrible so if she wins okay I can deal with it. But if Sheldon won and kept things the same, I’d be so happy :) lol
I refuse to vote for Cowabelle because of her take away. I’ve been trying to complete the furniture sets in the Kinzville Mall for YEARS and the last thing I need as I’m finally getting close is half the opportunity taken away. Also, her campaign promise about indoor/outdoor items is quite vague. That could turn out to be anything or next to nothing. And anyone can already buy treetop & underwater rooms, just make your next pet a flying or swimming pet. The real reason Cowabelle is leading in the polls is that she’s a kid & of course most of the kids will vote for her, it’s to be expected. It almost seems like a pre-planned outcome.

Yeah Emerald i like the mall items as well and I understand why people wouldn’t vote for her for that reason. The thing is i often lose rolls because i forget to play daily so her change doesn’t affect me. That just me however. All my votes are going to Sheldon but they might have gone to Cowabelle had Sheldon not arrived.

It really is all good right now. Change can sometimes be a good thing, but I don’t believe any of the proposed changes by the other candidates are going to turn out to be an improvement. I’m voting for Sheldon because I love Webkinz World the way it is!

I have a question: From now on will we have annual elections? Or every 4 years? Or is this decision permanent? I’m still not sure who to vote for. Before I was like, “oh totes cowaline” but now i’m like, “this wouldn’t help her relationship w/ her family! besides, do I really want like a 10 year old (who, i’d like to point out, has stayed the same age throughout the entire time webkinz has been running) to rule over kinzville? I’m probably gonna just give her two votes, and the third vote… i’m not sure. Anyone want to persuade me to use my last vote for whatever candidate? i’m definitely, no matter what, NOT voting for dex. just saying.
it’s really up to you on who’s ideas you like best: My favorites are Cowabelle, Sheldon, and Tabby- Ms. Cowline is great too. But I’m trying not to focus on their characters, (because it’s more what’s your favorite idea, because they’re characters- if it where just based on your favorite character I’d give all my votes to Sheldon) Tabby is going to increase jobs, Ms. Cowline is great and all but she’s giving us NO super school days and more recess… I love recess and all that, but super school days are AWESOME! Daisy Doe is going to take away our right to pick the food we want, and bump up the level of heath with each food item we feed our pets. Sheldon thinks nothing should change, Cowabelle is giving us tree top and underwater rooms, PLUS more items to go in more places, but less spree rolls, and Dex is making a room of… himself? Which in turn gives us no other room themes of this coming year. It’s really up to you sparklebluestar on what YOU think should change. To be fair, it is a fictional character. You have to remember that we’re not putting a real ten-year-old in charge of Webkinz World, because that would be a very bad idea. As for the age thing, I guess you just have to suspend your disbelief. If Cowabelle actually grew up, then she’d eventually become a teenager and then an adult. Not only that, but then everyone else would also have to grow up, and then it would just be weird. :P

GO TABBY! If anyone doesn’t realize, she’s acutally helping us make our Webkinz Houses BIGGER! With more Kinzcash, we can buy more rooms, and decorate them expensively! I love Tabby! We have to support her! She knows Kinzville! We know Kinzville! She does too! WE ALL CAN HELP HER! #ChangeRightMeow!
Well I understand your point but i only get on once a day so I’m only losing money and i assume this is the same case for many other players.

No sorry, but you’re not right! I like Cowabelle :) She’s very mature, knows what we want, and is NOT going to ruin Kinzville :) Cowabelle has lived in Kinzville all her life she knows Kinzville :) and dumping her is silly :) #JoinTheAdventure! I want to keep my Super School days!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Neither of you are right. It’s an opinion, not a fact; there is no right or wrong, only what you believe is best. Every candidate has some strong points and some not-so-strong points, so it’s up to each individual to decide what they’d most like to change in Webkinz World (or not to change, for those of you voting for Sheldon Turtle). As for me, I’m voting of Cowabelle, but I respect others’ opinions as well. :)
But she wants to take away SS days and all we get are five less days of waiting for recess, its still ten days. Plus there are other candidates with experience like Tabby and Sheldon. GO SHELDON!!! #It’sAllGood!!!
